  1. Bit risky for the price being quoted. He's not a regular for City especially given how frustrating he can be in a City side that creates several openings for him to potentially score. He could be even worse over here.
  2. Well they finally have it. I'll wait, since it's still way before preseason, but I won't pretend it's all fine after their recent track record. Given how poorly they handled Rudigers and Christensens contract situation, they have a lot to make up for. And acting slow, while other clubs snap up targets does not. My personal opinion is that we don't need a lot more to compete for top 4 this season. But we absolutely need new CBs and we should be close to signing one.
  3. It was the same last window too. Which culminated in the disaster Lukaku signing. People here are harping on about new owners like we need their wallet or something. The people in charge of recruitment are still the same. That's the reality.
  4. A month before the first preseason game. Hopefully we sign at least one incoming CB within the next 2 weeks.
  5. Hazard too. That's the kind of signing I'd like for us to make again. And DeBruyne. And Salah.
  6. I can understand that reasoning for midfield and attacker positions. But we've known for months that we are going to lose two key center backs Surely the club would have eyed a replacement for a while now.
  7. Feel a bit uneasy about this one. Granted, he's no Kante, but it reminds me of when Conte got Ngolo for cheap and convinced him to join us in 2016
  8. Well Perisic and Bissouma have already gone to Spurs. So that's already happened, lol. Well maybe not confirmed yet for Bissouma, but anyway
  9. Seems like it's a minor surgery for Kounde. Most likely the club will wait for him to recover and snap him up in time for pre-season. Until then, silence.
  10. But should it really though? I mean the woman's team signed a player and Gilmour signed a contract extension. So it's not like things CANT happen quickly with new ownership. Whatever the reason, they're slow. End of.
  11. He was an RCB option anyway. We should go all in for an LCB option this window, since that's the one we are lacking at this point. The current backup there is.... Sarr.
  12. Would make sense. My only expectation, which I believe is the bare minimum, is that they repair our back line by signing at least 2 CBs. Anything more is a bonus.
  13. One of the worst myths on here is that Emerson is somehow defensively superior to Alonso. IMO., he's even more dangerous. Whereas Alonso lacks speed and sometimes concentration., Emerson on the other hand flat out doesn't give a shit. He'll gladly let crosses swing in from his flank to cause chaos at the back, even if he's close to the attacker.
  14. Not really the link you're looking for but here's something from a month ago:
  15. Unfinished business at Inter perhaps? 😇
  16. Battle of the number 9s next season. Haaland. Nunez. ..... .... Lukaku?
  17. Honestly this is one instance were connections with the old guard have played a part. Lukaku unfortunately has strong connections with ex players like Drogba, Cech & Terry. I think these connections have won him favor and make his departure difficult
  18. Can be a bit misleading, those stats. Esp. the Sterling one. Yeah, it shows that he has nearly double the goal tally and assist stat in comparison to Pulisic, but that's with him playing in a stacked City team. You put him in our squad and those numbers will likely drop. So the truth is really somewhere in the middle.
  19. Eh...the player himself never sent a goodbye message. Unlike Rudiger. Honestly after the fuss he kicked about this season, the less said the better. Thanks for the CL final, I guess.
  20. I would put both Sterling and Dembele in the category of frustrating players. Could do so much more, but end up falling short when it really matters. Sure, they maybe an upgrade on talent, but I thought we have plenty of frustrating talents in our squad already.
  21. The transfer window officially opens tomorrow. Hope to see some action next week.
  22. How long is it going to remain so quiet on the transfer front? It's been barely 2 weeks since the official takeover, so I guess there's that. Plus, maybe the nations league plays a part. Maybe we'll hear something more solid after that tournament concludes for the quarter on Jun 14?
  23. Hate is mutual. Bayern is the club that I hate the most actually. Their cabal of ex players think they are superior and they crib about us buying players, when they've made a habit of poaching other Bundesliga clubs and monopolizing the league. Filthy hypocrites.
  24. Hmm., but doesn't say how many chances those players are involved in. Guarantee that Mount and Havertz have been involved in more games and chances.
