Yep, fully agree. There are many things that I find disagreeable over the past few months (and of course last season) But not quite panic stations yet. Too soon, and we still have the window open to make one smart buy. I'm annoyed with how long we've taken to get midfield reinforcements in, and essentially threw away the opportunity to start our season with a win against good opposition. But still time to rectify.

As an additional positive note, there is room to make one more smart move in the transfer market It has to be an attacking player with substance. Not flair, but someone that actually puts in numbers - assists or goals., and also has experience. Not another youth prospect. Nkunku's absence combined with James, is proving too harmful

That's my hope as well. I'd rather we fumble now, and make adjustments like Conte did in his first season., and push strongly for the rest of the season. With the CM reinforcements, Poch has no reason to rely on a back 3 anymore. Drop Disasi, play a 2 CB formation, and play on the front foot. One thing that's been missing last season is a proper response. A defeat last season was followed by another defeat or draw. I'll be hopeful that we can turn things around only with a convincing win next game.

Semantics!

Areola is a tit.
-
Oh fuck off Emerson. Passenger if I ever saw one, winning a free CL medal with us.
-
I want him to open his scoring account soon. If not this match, at least the next one. Have a feeling he could be lethal once the floodgates open.

Feels good to have a CF again.

@NikkiCFC has your opinion on Chukwuemeka changed?
-
Fantastic goal. Carney Chukwuemeka has skill. No doubt about that.
-
Fucking west sham crowd booing Jackson Hope he smashes one past their team.
-
Jackson, nearly. Come on.
-
Hope Jackson opens his account in this match.

We should be grateful to Havertz, Mount and Pulisic too. Maybe they abandoned ship at the end, but at least they contributed to doubling our CL trophy count, and that's more than enough for me. It's not like Bakayoko or Sarr who ended up contributing so little.

Brighton playing some real delightful football. Look surprisingly vulnerable at times, but for the most part - very dominant.
-
Him being here in a role similar to Drogba in 2014/15 wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. If nothing, but boost morale.

Based on how it's been last season, one month prognosis, usually means 2 months in reality. Not too bad, all things considered. Hope Gusto can step up. And hopefully with our new central midfield, we can reduce our dependency on full backs. We just need our default attackers, namely our wingers, to step up.
-
From what it sounds - it could be 2 to 3 months., worse case. Hopefully less. If surgery is really an option to permanently resolve a niggling issue, he might want to take it though. I doubt the intermittent injuries are doing him any favors.
-
Poch now has the central midfield he needs. Time to get back to winning.
-
If you combined RLCs technical ability and Gallagher's tenaciousness, you would probably get an excellent starting 11 player. Unfortunately, they are both limited in certain aspects and hence only amount to squad players.

Yep - Just ordered one for me and my cousin sister right on time. Thanks again for the heads up! ☺️

Looks like he doesn't chill well.

That's 'Manager' Kepa to you, sir. Don't you dare disrespect the gaffer.

There is a middle ground to everything No they're not shit, but to say the club has the best negotiators on the planet is something else. The fact is, Caicedo threw us a lifeline by making Chelsea his preferred choice. Else, he would be holding a Liverpool jersey by now. And as a result of leaving it late., we may have even had to pay over the odds. But that's in the past. What's done is done., and it looks like he is finally ours. We can all rest easy now as fans of the same club without having to gloat at each other. Else we can continue to quote each other on this forum over ridiculous opinions and posts made over time. Every fan can have different opinions, and no one is right all the time.

Guess who was back at the club for the Liverpool game. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12402399/Eden-Hazard-returns-Chelsea-fan-watch-match-against-Liverpool-Belgian-winger-free-agent-leaving-Real-Madrid-summer.html
