Hope he doesn't choke like he always has, then Can't believe this guy is conning people into thinking he can do something productive. At least Mount could score against Madrid when in form.
-
Ironically, Mourinho is the reason why I think Pochettino will do great things. If a serial winner like Mourinho can look so bad at Spurs, Pochettino must have been doing something right.
-
Well then let's hope they have at least 'unofficially' decided on it.
-
Why not at least announce Poch officially? Doesn't help that there's still so much uncertainty going into next season. Doesn't help players or fans.
-
All valid points. All said and done, it's still year one under their reign. But they are really making a meal of this first year. A lot of the damage has been self inflicted, with them being seemingly oblivious to how stupid some of their decisions have been.
-
I wonder whether he went into the dressing room again to speak.
-
WTF are him and his cronies waiting for. Just get a real coach in now. Or announce it. They're probably hoping for Poch also to slink away so that they can appoint the Australian coach they always fancied.
-
Or at least make an official announcement FFS.
-
The players are very certainly sticking it to Boehly and co for mucking around with the managerial appointments. And for storming the dressing room Oh yeah., you'll keep hearing interview saying that 'we let down the manager'. But make no mistake, this is what happens when they have zero faith in the management. Stop mucking around and get the new manager in. Getting sucked into a relegation battle is real risk.
-
I said. And lot of others said it. Hiring Lampard as an interim was a crackpot decision. If we were going to appoint an interim, we should have got a decent one. If there was none available, go for your final managerial choice. I feel bad for Lampard too. He needed to go to some place with a lot less pressure and rebuild his coaching credentials. Not jump back into this cesspool.

That guy is so fickle minded. Praised Potter to the moon when he was appointed, slagged off Abramovich. Few months later, he turns over his head.
-
Agreed. If we are going to sacrifice style of play, and long term development for a results-based, guns-blazing manager like Mourinho, then we should get a title challenging team. But, if we're getting a manager that is genuinely going to improve the squad, and style of play for the next few years, competing for top 4 should suffice.
-
Wonder what's taking this long if they already know he's their man. If he is, that is.
-
If he has plans to integrate Colwill, he is already on the right track.
-
Football conspiracy theory: What if Eghbaly was conspiring with his clients to take down Chelsea and let Newcastle take its place as a top 4 club?👽 Before anyone gets upset or decides to chuck an insult, I was only joking.
-
Yeah it's not the PSG stint that bothered me. I was referring to his last season at Spurs..,but everyone succumbs to problems at Spurs. He at least has done better than most.
-
Same here. I think the level he took those Spurs players to, hasn't been matched since at that club. The only thing that bothers me about Poch though, is not his stint at pSG, but his last season at Spurs. WtF happened there. I suppose it had more to do with Spurs and Levy though, and so he deserves some slack there I guess.
-
I just hope Enrique, Naggelsman and Poch weren't just smoke and mirrors.. and I hope that their real candidate is not some buffoon yes-man. With their track record. Who knows. They're probably looking at Rodgers too.
-
At least we have a timeline. That's good.
-
Levy won't allow him to.
-
If it helps, at least Poch never said anything negative about Chelsea. Unlike Benitez, who insulted Drogba and picked fights with Mourinho
-
Hilarious if true. Pissed off Naggelsman and Enrique in one stroke, because they decided to fuck around and have Lampard as an interim
-
All true. But what do you think is going to be the outcome? That Boehly is going to pack up and leave? No. And I doubt these people will listen to the current, or ex-players for their opinions. It's negative fan sentiment that is driving this train. What's happening for sure is we are out of Europe. That's already going to make us less attractive as a destination for good players. Club legends criticizing the club will only worsen it. I'm glad Didier feels the same way, but I don't see his comments helping our cause.
-
Drogba is my all time favorite, And while I absolutely see where he's coming from, I wish he hadn't made his thoughts public. Already there's little faith in the ownership. But these kind of comments might dissuade other potential stars from joining the club, if that's what a club legend thinks. Lampard was right to pour cold water over Didiers comments yesterday. Even if the comments are truthful, they do not help the club.
