  1. Regardless of who the other possible league winners are, that is slightly depressing. Same team winning league title after league title. Can't blame them though. They executed their plans perfectly. And I don't think the 115 charges will stop them. The fact that the PL itself has been unable to throw the book at them, just shows well they've entrenched themselves.
  2. Nail on the head. Who hired these mediocre coaches? Who assembled this piss-ant squad? It's all clownlake. I'm not going to hold my breath over the eventual departure of Poch. Who knows who they'll hire next. It's going to be a painful process to get back to where this club used to be on the pitch, thanks to the owners shenanigans. My fear is that there's still more to pay following their clown show. We'll likely see it this transfer window. We were easily able to move on Jorginho, Mount, Havertz, Kovacic, Koulibaly because there would be buyers for those players. Fat chance we can do the same. Unless you scrape the barrel and move on Gallagher, Chalobah & Omari, and with that we will be selling any performer we had left in the squad.
  3. Gusto still keeping the team in the game.
  4. Sorry I meant whatever the premier league equivalent of FFP is. I know its less strict, but it is a major factor.
  5. Seriously doubt this due to FFP. Team needs to fall a lot lower down the table for Clownlake to react.
  6. I'm confused. Is this Brentford with 7 first team players out?
  7. Caicedo not close enough to the attacker. Everyone ball watching.
  8. He's a fantastic player. Just a minor critique from me., with that comment.
  9. Feel bad for Gusto. So many chances created.
  10. Great finish., But I wish all our players stopped doing this silly shush celebration by putting the finger to the lips. These young guns need to develop a thick skin.
  11. In the words of Ashley Cole. They do now.
  12. Agree on Hutchinson. But I'm afraid that no one is going to want to buy Mudryk and Madueke for any significant fee.
  13. To go with an old Mourinho quote., you need good eggs to make a good omelet. Unfortunately in Chelsea's case., we have a mediocre chef AND low grade eggs.
  14. Honestly., does anyone even care at this point? He's hardly played this season, and was almost anonymous against Liverpool.
  15. Ultimately we're going to have to rely on players like Hutchinson (provided Clownlake doesn't think of selling him for a profit), to pull us out of this rut. The next transfer window is likely going to be slow. The club won't have enough funds to chase quality wingers AND bring in a top notch striker.
  16. All this stuff about removing Pochettino and expecting the team to become top4 quality is premature Younes sums it up well here. Poch is only a PART of the problem. The squad changes and the behind the scenes administrative changes have crippled the club.
  17. IMO, very unlikely to happen this season because of FFP reasons., not unless the team pushes towards the relegation zone. This season is done and dusted in my view. An 8th to 10th place league finish., plus whatever bonus we get from the FA cup.
  18. Clownlake whenever Brighton are involved:
  19. Exactly the point. This is a midtable roster. Maybe it can grow at some point to challenge for top4, but if anyone thinking that this is going to be a title challenging, cup winning squad, is grasping at straws. A squad with very few elite mentality players, will NOT become world beaters over night.
  20. What's there to dread. This team is going to finish 8th to 10th. Finito.
  21. He still shook hands with Eghbali. Would have been more to it if he had snubbed the both of them.
  22. Indeed. What a cheap excuse. How young was that Liverpool side that played in extra time? This current Chelsea roster is midtable at best, but a coach with better attitude could have done far more
