After watching the whole game, I'm disappointed with the final result. HOWEVER, I'm still glad that coming into the game,we had put quite a bit of daylight in terms of points ahead of the rest of the chasing pack of spurs, arsenal and United. As long as we go back to picking points against the lesser sides, results against the big 2 will not matter in race for top 4.

This is why Jurgen Klopp is awesome. Hope Frank can emulate Jurgen. I think their style of play is comparable

Clear and obvious errors .... Is it so difficult for the referees to understand simple English? If we have to wait 5 minutes before getting confirming EVERY single goal, its just getting ridiculous VAR in the PL is A FARCE!!!

Azpilicueta moves to the left flank anyway, when James plays, so I doubt its because of him. I think James is still rough. He is very good for his age, but the game against Utd in the league cup showed he still has a little bit more to go before he can become a nailed on starter ahead of Azpi/Emerson.

Gutless reporters...Asking the players about what they made of Chelsea fans leaving early (as if it doesn't happen in other clubs)......I saw questions like this in another interview video as well Reporter doesn't have the balls to ask the same to Frank, though.

Bumbling Barkley....lol for some reason that makes me snigger...haha

I've said it before I can't say it enough... VAR is RUN by bunch of fucking morons!!!!! FA = Fucking arseholes

Maybe you have a very high estimation of him. I haven't seen anything special from him when we played big teams, and this goes back to last season when we played at Anfield, when he disappeared in attack. But, I'm attributing this to the fact that hes still not fully developed as player and has still a few years ago, considering his age.
-
Can do better, but...have to remember he's only 18. Not every player is like Messi or Mbappe. Him being paid 6 figures a week (which is probably due to difficulty in negotiations), won't change that.

OGS is like the new Kenny Dalglish ... Managing shit teams with a shit style but still manage to pick up wins consistently against Chelsea. Annoying match, and felt we should have done more in attack. Was interesting to see CHO and Pulisic to start together, but a bit underwhelming in the end. But its to be expected. This is still a young team, and not yet the finished article. There will be inconsistencies. Despite that, we have 7 wins in a row, and followed by 1 defeat, that is still a fantastic achievement. We fielded a weaker side and got undone only by set pieces. There will be more to come with returning players.

And now with a hat-trick....
-
VAR ....,a piece of dogshit, made to pull out dogshit teams from the fire. You know which teams...
-
Hope he gets more minutes. At least, a lot more than what he has got in the past 5 games

You must be thinking of a handful of games, like those he had against United when thugs like Young and Herrera tried to do a number on him. Other than those few examples, how can you say that he shied away from tackles? There's a reason he was the most fouled player in the league when he was here. And that earlier comment on here by @Costa19 sounds just wrong. How can you wish ill will on a player who contributed so much when he was here? For 7 years at that! Not sure how his Madrid exploits can bother you.

Remember when Franco DiSanto was the only known youth player featuring for a Chelsea 11? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I don't know about deserved or undeserved, but we were desperately unlucky. Near misses, VAR, fantastic setpieces from Liverpool, and two injuries to defenders within the first half. We also held control for good portions of the game, and kept the deadly Salah and Mane relatively quiet. Don't want to sound like Ty from Arsenal fan TV, but we were unlucky in this match.
-
Worst of it. It was marginal. You should really favor the attacking side in those situations.
-
Truly the only thing worth mentioning and acknowledging. Probably all you can ask for at this point I admit that I was pretty frustrated at half time when we were 2 down due to ill luck. But have to remember, this is a work in progress team, with a work in progress manager, with players missing due to injury.
-
Seriously, did some tinpot Liverpool fan make some hideous sacrifice before the game? The amount of luck they've had in this game is staggering

Piece of s**t Coquelin, with that horror tackle. That ex goon idiot's head must still be spinning after Hazard left him rolling on his arse a few years ago.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/09/02/cesar-azpilicueta-shows-frank-lampards-problem-chelsea-not-youth/amp/ No need to beat a dead horse, but it's really some of the experienced players who are letting Frank down atm. Others are pointing it out too Graeme Souness pointed the finger at Azpi just 2 games into the season

I agree with your points about Reece James. There is no guarantee that he will be the answer. But you cant mask Azpis faults in any way. Sure other players might not be helping, but those dispossession stats showing that he gave away the ball, not twice, but 3 times as much as any other player, including those from Sheffield United? That's just embarrassing for a player at his level. And no, him playing next to a green CB has nothing to do with the fact that he got beaten for both the crosses that led to the goals. And this is not the first match this happened this season.

Looking like Ivanovic at his worst, and when Ivanovic was at his worst, that happened in the infamous Mourinho season. Hope Lampard can address this situation sooner rather than later. Wish we had options ready from the bench. Heck, would even take Alonso as an option at this point.
