  1. Might alter Sarris 433 to a double (yuck) pivot. With Kante playing closer to him.
  2. Lampard, Jody Morris...maybe even Drogba if he's interested in helping out with coaching. If we're really going to rely on the youth as the case seems for next season then let's do that
  3. Fickle minded fans everywhere, but I think Lampard has a better chance than most. Mourinho continued to have support even after dragging the club into the relegation zone
  4. Granted, the fans were a bit harsh on him when he moved. But now he's just acting like a clown, trying to rile up the supporters. Glad Hazard wont get in on his act.
  5. Sorry, but not sure why we need to take parting swipes at players who gave their best and achieved a lot at the club. Hazard was loyal to Chelsea throughout his time here. If someone brings up his media comments to suggest that it seriously impacted our games, I'll just laugh. How about.. just say thank you and move on, if theres nothing better to say? I hope Chelsea does well. I hope he does well. If Chelsea meets Madrid, I hope we kick their arse. That's it.
  6. Interesting choice if it were to happen...definitely sounds more inspiring than Allegri or some of the other names thrown about.
  7. Ask for a freeze. Dont wait. Reputation or even a slightly longer ban wont matter if we cant sign anyone worth a damn. This summer, while we are still in the Champions league, is our best bet to sign any decent players Do not risk waiting
  8. Great stuff The Coles in charge of the youth squad, Ballack a brand ambassador, Cech potentially a DOF...wonder where Lamps, JT and DD are going to come in.
  9. Hope it's not Allegri.. The youth players, especially the ones currently out injured, will be stuck in limbo again, as a brand new manager with no familiarity with the Chelsea youth, will have his own favorites.
  10. Injuries...dont forget the injuries to key players too
  11. Lol..they're really making an article about offhand comments Hazard made more than a year ago? Wonder if Madrid fans will read the Mirror and get amped up
  12. I think Chelsea can take a lot of pride in Hazards devlopment. Just like SAF and Ronaldo at Utd, I think Mourinho and Chelsea had a big hand in making him the player he now is. When he came, he was a very, very talented member of the starting 11, one of the famed trio of Oscar, Mata and Hazard..but it was in that 2014/2015 season that he became THE man of the new generation Chelsea team. Have to be grateful to Chelsea for giving us this chance. We have had legends who moved on to other things in life after leaving the club, and we have legends that are good enough to play for big clubs even after several years of service. Well done Chelsea
  13. I know. It's like an emotional roller coaster for me. Just to cling to normalcy, or heart over head,I just want someone from the old guard to return to put us back on track. Lampard. Even Mourinho
  14. Anyway. I'm not sure of the point in serving the ban right now, even if there is a risk of it being increased. The whole point of getting back into the CL was to attract star players. What's the point in making transfers when you're dumped in the Europa league?
  15. Also to be clear, I'm not fond of the other names thrown around. Dont want to go back to a turgid style of football
  16. Two things come to mind when people even suggest Lampard to come in: 1. Does Frank even WANT to manage Chelsea so soon? 2. There are still former teammates of Lampard in the dressing room. How would that affect dressing room dynamics if he decides to chop/change the starting 11.
  17. If we go back to our pragmatic approach...smh...that was only ever good when we had intelligent players that could exploit that type of system.
  18. I hope we don't risk him unless its 100% sure he's fit. Start of next season is more important than this match
  19. Hopefully, yes...but be prepared to also see Zappacosta feature at some point
  20. “Recruitment is the biggest thing for any club now and I don’t think Klopp will go mad in the transfer market this summer. “But I tell you who I’ve seen – and I don’t think they could easily get him – the right-back at Wigan, on loan from Chelsea, Reece James. “In that league he makes it look so ridiculously easy. I think he could make the step up.” Damn right it won't be easy for you to get him, Mark. Especially after seeing how your club screwed up with Solanke. You won't even get a Zappacosta from us.
  21. If there's one club I really hate, its them. Them and their stupid top brass of ex players. Entitled and always pass snide remarks about Chelsea. Now they are trying to poach us without any shame.
