Here are the issues I have with the Cubs Arrieta. He has had a fantastic season, possibly the best pitcher in the last several months. However, he is 29 and this is his first season that hasn't been mediocre.Bullpen. Outside of an inexperienced Arrieta, who do the Cubs have that is reliable to push them further in the NLCS and World Series? Lester absolutely horrible and Strop is mediocre.Overly reliant on young hitters. If the Cubs can't shut down the opposition hitters with their pitchers, they just outscore them. Cubs have been smashing runs all seasons. This is kind of like Newcastle in the 90s; all attack, no defence. But they aren't hitting, they aren't winning.Since the Cubs have no depth in the bullpen and the hitters aren't scoring right now, they have no hope. They can't squeeze out 1-0 victories because the pitching is so bad. The Cubs have hope for the future especially if they build on these youngsters but they really need some better pitchers to go all the way.

And you've done the same thing, haven't you? You didn't state anything other than he isn't, so you are also taking the high ground where you ought not to. You didn't explain yourself, I didn't explain myself but of course you are in the right aren't you sweet-cheeks? It is funny how you can't even see your own hypocrisy . Thanks for your generic post Henrique look at this marvelous specimen! So enlightening, so moving. Haha, it is amazing some of the stuff you come up with. If it was so hard you for to grasp, I'll break it down. In 2013, Gareth Bale played for Tottenham Hotspur (remember?). You'd also remember that he played incredibly well, so well he carried that team from obscurity to relative amazing. Compared to what he has done at Real Madrid...well he is in a more talented team and while he has played well he hasn't quite reached his that lofty height of 2013 that opted the highest transfer fee in the world. He is a clown because he looks like silly with his man buns and his cave-man starter beard. Lighten up, buckaroo, you seem upset, this is a light-hearted forum. Here is another clown for you I'd love to hear your opinion, but sadly I don't really care. Ta. Love, Spike

For starters I never referred to his record nor did I describe that aforementioned record as 'clownish'. I did call him a 'clown' but that is distinctive from 'a clownish record'. Syntax and semantics, Henrique. Syntax and semantics. But why, Henriquelme? Where is the context? You've provided the content, now contextualise it. Why did you misconstrue my post? Why isn't Bale's record clownish? Why? WHY?

I'm filtering you.

If Payet comes up against Baba next week, I'd have my money on Payet given the ridiculous form he is in. However, if Baba just needs experience. I'm sure he will soon be much more collected and calm. Hopefully this is only the first start of very many. Some people take a little longer than others to adjust. I remain confident he'll [baba] be fine in the coming months.
-
Only for more than Bale. Hazard cost a lot of money to begin with and if he doesn't sell for at least Bale's cost than the club have been played like fools. If Tottenham can milk the money, Cheslea should be able too. As for the aforementioned swap of Hazard and Bale, I'd want 'January to August 2013' Bale, not this current clown that is decent for Real Madrid.

THEN WHAT WILL HAPPEN AGONISING

He needs a boot up the bum. Every player and very person has a poor day or run. He'll be back on top, just gotta be patient.
-
@iseah100,
-
I think it is nerves. No way he would be tired. The guy is in sublime shape, he has to be one of the fittest players in the MLB.
-
He was a perfecting pitching machine for nearly 6 months. How? Why?
-
@iseah100, This first inning.
-
You don't know that he doesn't do that. That is near impossible to know; so you are criticising Mourinho based on a hypothetical; which in turn is based on conjecture.
-
What enlightened strategies would you use?
-
You are a terrible person.
-
I have a stomach ache, so no.
-
And I think they are shit captains. Especially Rooney and Zlatan. Rooney is quite possbily the worst captain I've ever seen in my life. Not commenting on Wise or Keane.
-
But they were inspiring charismatic leaders, it's either calm and collected like Zanetti and Maldini or passion and charisma like Puyol and Cantona. I think Costa has the passion but he lacks all the other traits.
-
I think a captain needs to be level headed.
-
You mean Uncle Fester the child molester fucked up.
-
Goddamn, he was bad tonight. The fielding was a disaster too.
-
@iseah100, LEEEEESTER YOU CHUCKLEFUCK
-
That sucks, I was wondering because I just got MLB the show.
-
I've never been robbed. Someone did once break into my grandmother's and steal a pack of cigarettes and only that.
-
How did that happen? I only have a PS3. I've no interest in upgrading till I have to.
