  1. Konohas? It doesn't really matter to me why he supports Chelsea, all that matters is that he does support Chelsea.
  2. What's up with the quotation marks around the word 'fan'? Are you implying that Konohas is a glory hunter? Just curious.
  3. Do five people ask you the score? I bet it's five. I deduce you work in retail? Anyway, I rarely miss games, having no education commitments and a reasonably easy job.
  4. Don't forget the numerous fantastic games he has had at LOSC, you can seb if you want more vindication. There is a reason he is on the National Team, you don't get there by luck. If the selectors wanted to play it safe, they could have played Lassana Diarra or Anthony Réveillère. Say Ivan tears his Cruciate Ligament, who plays at RB for the rest of the season? Hutch can't be called because he isn't 100% and would struggle to play more than 90minutes a week. Paulo will put in a decent shift, but he is getting too old.
  5. I think it's great that you can work so hard yet fit Chelsea in. You seem very good at multitasking...are you sure you are male?
  6. The first one is the joker that showed the Persians the positional weakness of the Greek Armies at the Battle of Thermopylae (think of that hunchback from the film 300). And the second is just the direct translation of Joseph Stalin's Russian name. In case you didn't know Stalin 'purged' alot of his 'friends'.
  7. You must have some great managers where you work. I know some that would fire your ass without a second though for that.
  8. You do realise when he contract was running out he was very willing to take a pay cut? I believe a new contract (with decreased pay) was on the cards but Cunt-Boateng broke Ballack's leg. http://www.clubcall.com/chelsea/ballack-facing-pay-cut-1068673.html http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/10032010/58/premier-league-paper-round-pay-cut-ballack.html I miss Ballack.
  9. He [Ribéry] played for three clubs in his youth career them being: Conti Boulogne, Lille and US Bologne. He has played for seven clubs in his professional career: US Boulogne, Alés, Stade Bretois, Metz, Galatasaray, Marseille and Bayern Munich. I don't where this '3 clubs in his major career' nonsense comes from.
  10. My point is, that Ribery should not have needed a substantial pay increase after Van Gaal was fired. If he was truly loyal he should have been happy with a change of management. But as you said "IIRC, the high wages was just a way to get him to stay at Bayern, due to the way Louis van Gaal treated him." Unless of course the pay increase came during van Gaal's tenure. There is a reason Ribery has played for seven clubs in twelve years.
  11. Van Gaal was fired and Heynckes replaced him, so if he was loyal he should not have needed a substantial pay increase. Loyalty can be bought, the fact that increased pay was needed for him to stay contradicts the whole concept.
  12. El Ché continues to be bastardised. El Ché was about everybody being equal in South America, I wonder how many Celtic fans could stand being equal with Rangers.
  13. As in Atilla the Hun and his people. The Huns were an Asiatic people from the Steppes in Russia. They invaded Europe and left a trail of destruction, rape and death in their path, essentially the Mongols and Timurids of the Middle/Dark Ages. In their minds they [Celtic] are the saviours of everything right and noble and stand against the evil Huns that only wish to destroy. That is why cunts like James Connolly say that we are destroying football and they [Celtic] are the protectors of the sport. Cannons of the Holy Sepulchre, they seem to think of themselves. I've nothing against Celtic supportes, except those with militant beliefs.
  14. Michael Ballack wanted to retire at Chelsea and we all know how the brass handled that...I miss Ballack. Ribery is happy because he is one of the highest paid footballers in the world, he is loyal to the gold lining his pocket. I seem to recall him trying to engineer a move to Chelsea last season, but Bayern had none of it.
  15. Have you read this thread? Nearly everyone that has posted in it, has said it will not happen. Besides, without looking through Bayern tinted glasses I can see him moving away from the club in the future, maybe not to Chelsea, but somewhere. He has contract trouble and he has expressed his admiration for England in the past. Hell, when he is 35 he might join New York Red Bulls or Cosmos (whoever they are), much like Beckenbauer.
  16. I feel he is allowed to be more dynamic when playing for Germany. I feel that José restricts him a bit too much. I've seen flashes of creative brilliance at Real Madrid, but José prefers Alonso and Ozil to be the creative outlets.
  17. Alonso doesn't play in die Mannschaft...Watch the Euros.
  18. I like Eden and I think he is going to be a success. SWING THIS BACK ON TOPIC LADS
  19. Who the hell do you watch? Khedira not only provides a threat going forward with his ball distribution but he stabilises the midfield with his denfensive qualities. So far he has already provided an assist of Mario Gomez.
  20. They are both pretty terrible if you ask me. Life would be much better without them. They give idiots another excuse to hate eachother and it makes things easier by having some wear green and the others wear blue.
  21. Lamps is probably the better player but Cabaye is eight years younger than Super Frank. So for how long can it be argued that Lamps is superior to Cabaye?
  22. Love me or hate me, that is the question. Love me or hate me, it's still an obsession. - Lady Sovereign Who would have thought this terrible rap artist would perfectly illustrate the relationship between Torres and Chelsea fans.
  23. Doubtful, my friend. Felllaini joined the Toffees for 16m.
  24. Michael Laudrup is the perfect man for Swansea. His ethos will fit theirs like a glove. Amazing player, amazing.
  25. Reasons for him leaving Bayern: He has won every domestic honour in the 1.Bundesliga. He has proven himself time and time again in Germany and has nothing left to prove. Reasons for him staying at Bayern: He is a born Bavarian and he would be very attached to his home. He has been at the club since 1998 and has only ever played for them.
