If a player is good at passing he is automatically branded to be 'tiki taka' style player by the masses (the fucking Bleacher Report in other words). It's as if people believe there was no such thing as passing before tiki taka came along. Goddamn buzzwords that ignorant people use to seem imformed. And other bullshit like 'Suarez is a clinical finisher'. What's so clinical about his finishing? He need about 20 chances a match to score a goal.

They had Chelsea on the backfoot until Mata's 'goal'. The minute that ball didn't go over the line it killed their momentum and confidence. But then they were destroyed.

A lot of people seem to think that formation = strategy and tactics. The formation is 4-2-3-1. A part of RDM's stragtegy is that he might employ 3 Attacking Midfielder or 1 Attacking Midfielder and 2 Defensive Wingers. This coincides with the 4-2-3-1. However one his tactics is that Oscar man marks the oppponet's Midfield Playmaker. Another is that Mata might drop deep and dictate play instead of playing in the 'Hole'. The formation is the formation. Easy stuff. Strategy is the larger picture, the modus operandi to achieve a certain goal. Tactics aim to achieve more specific goals. Like man marking a certain important player, or drifting out wide to blur the lines of attack. Look at Barcelona v Chelsea last season. The strategy was to contain them as much as possible and hit on the counter-attack. Some of the tactics employed was Didier Drogba playing almost in the back four and Fernando Torres staying up high to beat the offside trap. The formation was still the 4-2-3-1 but the strategy to win and the tactics employed to counter specific threats are completly diffferent to those used against Arsenal or Norwich.

Lloris is one of the nice guys in football but I think he will be at a new club come 2013/14 season. Maybe Juventus? Gigi can't continue forever.

I hate AVB for the 5-3 against Arsenal, the 3-3 against Manchester United, his arrogance and childish aggression with the media, his attempts to be witty and controversial like Mourinho, his atrocious man management, his tactical stubbornness, his use of convoluted terminology, making Super Lamps the villain, touch line squatting and his insane idea of celebrating.

I think Morratti sees the bigger picture this time and Stramaccioni has his support. He is a young manager but he seems to have the support of the older players like Samuel, Cambiasso and Zanetti; unlike another young red headed manager with a rapsy voice. Cassano looks happy and that is always a great thing. For once he looks at home in a team.

Maybe if they but Falcao we will get Aguero? Or even Dzeko, I really like Dzeko.

At one stage a bid was accepted but again Aguero was stubborn with wage demands and the club was even more stubborn just not giving his wages. Both bastards. Somone like Aguero who came from absolute poverty; you'd think he would be lessy money grabby.

Sort of. Aguero wanted very high wages and the club weren't prepared to pay wages that high for a player with no BPL experience. Ended up signing Torres for £10 Million more with exactly the same wages (probably even higher wages). Ahh, hindsight is terrible.

I looked it up. It would cost me AUD1600 (GBP1000) just to get to London. No return flight. But I'd have to take a plane from where I live to Brisbane and then from Brisbane I'd have to catch a plane to Sydney.

Yeah, it's pathetic that I don't go games very often. It's not like I'm poor and live on the otherside of the world. I mean why spend money on food when I could save up for a $1500 return plane ticket just so I can spend a weekend in London and become a 'real fan'.
