Torres is our Preparation H.

100% agree with that. You've taken the words from my mouth. We have mids that can score a lot of goals per season. Chelsea has always done this, everyone is expected to chip in goals, unlike Atleti where everything goes through Falcao or in the past Forlan and Aguero. I'm not saying that Falcao won't succeed, just saying that the circumstances are different. I like Falcao, he isn't my preference but I wouldn't say no. It's like that girl you don't really get along with, but you know she is available and a great root. You wouldn't say no but you are holding out for something more suited to your tastes.

If you change the nouns, the exact same thing is applicable to Cavsni and Falcao. When it comes down to it, pick your poison.

I thought everyone was gutted when he signed for Atletico all those years ago...

The environment and cirumstances at Chelsea are completely different to Real Madrid.

Would be entertaining with that crazy bastard around. He'd give the young defenders a different look on the game anyway.
-
Fucking geez. Give them all the money and young Belgian talent, then you bastards.

Ah, I made his topic once when I first joined. I think it was deleted. FASCISTS

Or how about both of them are removed entirely?

Haha, I'm afraid that card can only be played once. A man can dream though, maybe he has extra marital affairs we don't know of...

I'm blaming you if Chelsea lose. I swear to god I'll be in Cardiff/Birmingham within a week if it happens. Then I'll be waiting for you in the Netherlands.

What? I don't care if it was a red card or not. That was besides the point I was making. The fact if the matter is that Luiz play acted and that's that.
-
How about after I grow a pair, I fuck you? Make you my bitch, I'm into BDSM too so you'll be in for a rough time.Or how about Luiz grows a pair and never does such a bitch move again? This is the shot I expect from that little rat Suarez not Luiz. People call Busquets and what not diving cunts but once Luiz does it he is a legend.
-
What the fuck is that shit Luiz? I don't care if its a team like Manure, he shouldn't be doing that sort if stuff. I thought he would be above it, kind of really disappointed in him.

All valid points buuut you have to appreciate that Torres and Shevchenko were always pace whores while Gonzalo has never even been that fast.
-
You do realise its well within all logical reason to be able to compare any to subjects or objects?

I understand where they are coming from. But I agree that the comparison is all sorts of ridiculous. Torres completely degenerated as a player. Falcao is just going through a tough patch.
-
And people say he scores from nothing, creates his own chances etc. Now the heat is Atleti for not being creative enough.

So the fact the more people agree that Modrić is a great CM than not makes my opinion invalid? That's a bullshit argument Skips and you know it, popular opinion means nothing here. It does not make him a good player and doesn't make you correct. Tottenham were shit and still are, just because it worked for the piddling ambitions doesn't mean it will here. Besides VDV, Bale, Lennon, Parker all work tremendously harder in defence than the likes of Hazard, Mata, Lamps and even goddamn Mikel. They weren't fantastic at it but they still worked harder. Not even mentioning the fact that Tottenham excelled at quick incisive counter attacking football. Does Chelsea play that way? Modrić had the likes if absolute pace whores in Walker, Lennon, Bake and even Defoe. Now Chelsea has quick players but not on that level.

What do mean 'now people are now saying he is shit'? I've always said that, I never wanted him. Thought he was overrated and average then and just as much now. I don't even think Yaya Toure is that great, he can be, but half if the time he us a lazy git. Modrić has always been a poor CM for a two man midfield for me. He'd be great on a three man though. I don't want overly defensive players on the 4-2-3-1. Not saying that. I just don't want a CAM masquerading as CM in the midfield. Oscar can just be put there if an overky attacking player us what you desire. No need for this guy. Ideally it would be Alonso and someone like Moutinho or Cabaye. Even Beñat and his 100000 yellow cards would be better. Modrić should be playing in a 4-3-3 if anything not a two man midfield. A perfect midfield could be Alonso - Moutinho - Modrić. But fuck that noise, because Mata would be on the wing

Played as a CAM in both of those matches.

Modrić is awful. All he has is his agility and technique. Couldn't defend to save his life and all that jazz and he isn't he that creative at all, he is just a tidy passer with amazing technique. Modrić is already redundant in works football die to the existence of Gündogan, who is superior in every single way to Modrić. Modrić can fuck off, Chelsea has Oscar who will be 10x the player. Whether Oscars future lies in the number 10 position or the midfield is the next manager's prerogative. Alonso isn't a bad option. One older veteran signing isn't going to be the end if the world like some users believe. His experience and knowledge of the game invaluable. It's not like once Alonso is bought the club will revert to exclusively buying 30+ players. He currently offers something no Chelsea players currently do. And Alonso would marginalise Mikel who has been our worst player this season, it might kick a bit if life into Mikel and hopefully he can regain his form. Mikel is not a bad player, but he has been absolutely awful this season and I hate seeing him like this. Strengths Exceptional long passing Strong intercepting Fairly strong Stand tackles Penalties, FKs and corners Stamina Weaknesses Mobility Age is against him (maybe three or four years left) Slide tackles His goal scoring abilities are inconsistent
