  1. Ripped apart with Hazard-Mata-Ramires, seriously?! That imo is our most balanced option, at least you know Ramires will do his job defensively and will also be an outlet on the counter.
  2. You play football to win, not to 'have fun' If it wasn't so much about winning then why do so many managers get fired? even those like RDM (West brom) and 'Arry who played good football.
  3. "There is nothing, it is all lies" - AVB on Tottenham rumours.
  4. It wasn't just any victory though, it was essentially the title decider and Madrid went to Barca's home and took the trophy. And over the past 5-6 meetings between the 2 sides Madrid have shown they're capable of matching them. Their last 3 meetings = 1 RM win, 1 Barca win, 1 draw. Also, when they met in the Copa del rey last season, Barca just edged it 4-3 agg.
  5. He's not a bad player, but he can be very aggressive at times, resulting in many stupid fouls and many stupid yellows.
  6. He would be a good signing for Madrid, can totally see it happening too as Spurs will prefer selling him abroad than to Chelsea or United.
  7. I reckon he would cost close to 30m.
  8. Follow, follow, follow There was only 2 minutes to go It was Wayne Bridge's goal, that sent us out of control And sent the Arsenal out of Euro
  9. This is what i'm most disappointed about.
  10. If Sturridge didn't end the season as badly as he did, then i'm sure not many will complain about him being main striker. And i'm not even talking about goals here, but his overall performance from December to May was just shocking. Nothing changed, just same shit every game. And just before someone comes up with the excuse of him playing out of position - what about prior to December (preseason included) when he was amazing from that very same position?!
  11. He would not be a bad option to have. Quick, tricky player who's not afraid to take on defenders. And it's for a reasonable price too, plus the fact he is already used to PL football. Watched him against Arsenal at the Emirates last season, and he totally destroyed their RB - Djourou i think it was If we do get him, our options for the 3 positions behind the striker only gets stronger and far better than last season.
  12. I would take 24m. Simply because we might never get that high for him again, given his age. Would be even better if Giovinco is involved in the deal, more depth and more creativity = yay!
  13. Will be sorted out later. A lot of games will be moved to later time and dates.
  14. Exactly. Same redundant points over and over and over again.
  15. Huge bump - Wanted to start a caption thread, but decided to search if one already existed and found this.
  16. Btw, anyone notice how his first goal yesterday was similar to his shot at Anfield which hit the cross-bar? Quick turn and an un-saveable shot! Didn't know that, good run.
  17. The past 4 months he's shown positive signs, then disappeared, some more positive signs then disappears yet again. He needs to find consistency and play well for an extended period of time.
  18. Based on stats. But stats don't tell the full story about how many times we played a weaker side due to CL or Fa cup. We drew away at Arsenal, yes, but we made like 9 changes for that game lol.
  19. "Eddie Newton is set to be appointed as Di Matteo’s assistant after filling the role since the Italian took over" - Daily Star "His right-hand man Eddie Newton is also expected to remain at Stamford Bridge" - WestLondonSport "It is expected that Di Matteo’s No2, former Chelsea midfielder Eddie Newton, will be brought on board in the next few days" - Express "Eddie Newton is also expected to remain as Di Matteo's No2" - Guardian Nothing official yet though.
