  1. "RDM: Fernando Torres is going to join us tomorrow [Monday] in Philadelphia and may play in Miami at the weekend"
  2. Yes he's 23 and was 3rd highest scorer in Bundesliga last season, after Huntelaar and Gomez.
  3. How much do you think he's worth then?
  4. Yep, tbf Essien has done well in the 2 preseason games.
  5. I agree about the 25m bid, reasonable amount, and not many better options we can get for that price.
  6. Not writing him off, but he sure has a lot of work to do before he can ever be a number one striker for Chelsea.
  7. According to the Daily Mail, we made an offer of 13m rising to 17m and his rep had this to say: "A £13m transfer fee is not suitable" And they also say Dortmund value him close to 35m.
  8. Don't get the Damaio hype, never seen him play well.
  9. The only thing similar in both players is strength and the colour of their skin. Nothing more.
  10. 4-6-0 from the start on wednesday
  11. Piazon, Marin, Malouda, Essien, Ash all did well. Lukaku worst player.
  12. Piazon got the ball, passed to Ramires and moved, got it back and scored. Lukaku just couldn't even hold the ball when he received it.
  13. That is EXACTLY what Lukaku needed to do more - Link up with the 3 behind him.
  14. He did apologize for this beforehand
  15. Can make more than normal 3 subs in friendlies.
  16. Cech; Hutch-Cahill-Luiz-Ferreira; Mikel-Lampard; KDB-Hazard-Kakuta; Lukaku
  17. Nice, both sides look to be taking it seriously.
  18. Match starts in 2 hours, 10 minutes. Pre match talk is 30 minutes before the game, so 1h 40 minutes.
  19. Don't know why Man utd want him? where would he fit in with Nani/Young, Kagawa, Valencia and Rooney? then there's Welbeck and Hernandez. And City lol, they have 4 strikers already. And not even young strikers like we do, 4 top strikers (and Santa Cruz ) IMO he should stay at Arsenal or join Juve.
  20. Of course not, but he at least played a part in all of them. Unlike the 2010 WC where he did nothing of note and got a medal. Anyway he ended the season in much better form than we've seen from him in a Chelsea shirt - sure most of the goals were against not so good opposition (Inb4TorontoChelsea ), but he wasn't even scoring against those in his first 6-7 months as a Chelsea player. Then he went on to score 4 goals in 7 games for Spain. So i'm quietly confident in him doing better next season, especially with the new players we've gotten/are getting. (Still think we need another striker though)
  21. "Cavani is not for sale but we can also take 100 million. This does not mean that this is his value, but this is the value that he has for me and he won't leave for less" - De Laurentiis
