I'm walking in circles here but I can't stress this enough: Morata has NO game-breaking attribute. He's not blessed with unreal athleticism. His technique, while good, is not amazing. His general on-pitch personality is too tame. His movement is good but nothing special, yet again. If you want a player of Morata's profile play Batshuayi and don't spend that crazy amount of money on a nice player. What new dimension exactly does Morata offer to our team? How does he change this club's future for the better?

I'm not a fan of PEA but I like Batshuayi's talent and the potential fit of him playing with PAE at times.

Lol, all the Lukaku never was a Chelsea fan posts in here. You do realise that it's possible to grow up a fan of team A and still sign/play for team B? Why is it so hard for some people to accept that it's our club that solely fucked up? We dicked around with this Lukaku transfer since June apparently and couldn't manage to close the deal. United, however, come in and make it happen in an instant. Of course Lukaku will feel grateful and appreciated, the club he just signed for showed him that they want him and that the money is only secondary, getting him is what counts.

I've been defending our board quite a lot over the past few years but man, Lukaku should have been wrapped up by mid-June. If he really joins United because we penny-pinched over a few millions it's gonna be hard to have any faith in whoever the fuck is running our transfer department. This whole thing of trying to outsmart everyone and buy cheaper players is a strategy bound to fail; you simply do NOT think twice about paying up for a quality starter for arguably the most important position on the pitch.
