Ugh, not Oscar please.
-
Roman's finally getting his money's worth again.
-
Still the greatest player this club has ever seen.
-
I can't express how happy I am to see David in a Chelsea kit weekly.
-
I watched some Leicester games last season but never ever would I have expected Kante to be THIS good for us. Best central midfielder in the league and it's not even close.
-
That pass to Matic in the 2nd half was something else. Put his head up once, saw Matic, waited for him to run into space, turned the Southampton player, and played that pass with the outside of his foot to Matic with amazing precision without looking.
-
Didn't Martinez play him there when he was still at Wigan? I'm probably wrong though.
-
The refs deserve huge credit for their performances, too. Aside from not handing Romeu a yellow card for his foul on Costa Mike Jones was fantastic, the same goes for the linesman that saw Austin's knee being offside.
-
Nothing he could do about that header really. That one had too much power and was placed perfectly, not to mention that GKs expect their defenders to actually win headers that far out. Asmir did well yesterday.

I hate everything about Oscar. His lack of technique, his stupid flicks which never work, his inability to protect the ball, his shite dribbling, his creepy looking moustache, his lack of vision, his lackadaisical body language, his depressing facial expressions, the fact that he has played 200 fucking games for Chelsea. EVERYTHING: As @Bosnian Blue put it correctly last night, if Oscar was some academy player or some random youth player we bought he'd have been sent out on loan dozens of times and eventually been sold, too. His pricetag is the only reason he hasn't been McEachran'd.

The potential lack of wing play makes me nervous.

Costa will inevitably pick up a suspension or two (or three) and an injury here and there, too. That's usually how a season goes. If Batshuayi is fit when we need him to step up he will play; remember how many opportunities Remy/Falcao would have had last year if they weren't injured so often? Exactly. Also, next year we'll be playing CL football again so having 2 good strikers for 4 competitions will be vital. Just chill a bit, good players sit on the bench everywhere all the time, too.
-
Cesar has shown great positioning and timing on headers, though. Will it happen? Probably, yes. But even the tallest CB lose a crucial header from time to time and so far I don't think Cesar has given us any reason for concern in that regard.

Play Aina. With a 3 at the back there's still enough protection behind him. Offensively... welp. That could be a challenge.
-
You and me, bruh. We've been keeping this Moses ship steady in the meantime. There's still more than enough seats on this bandwaggon to hop onto, though.
-
First of all, Mourinho needs to get into a CL spot
-
He definitely earned his weekly paycheck today.
-
He truly had one of the greatest defensive performances I have ever witnessed. Felt like he got in between the ball and his opponent every single time.
-
Sounds a bit extreme but I love it
-
Let them be ignorant. If Moses was a new signing with a fancy name outsiders would acknowledge his performances this season. Conte, his teammates, and we Chelsea supporters know what he has brought to the table.
-
IMO the first half yesterday was screaming for Batshuayi. With the amount of crosses we managed to put in another body in the box could have been crucial.
-
Saw that last night and joined in Loved how he went full-Trump and insulted millions of Chelsea supporters simply because he considers his interpretation of the definition of "supporting" the only valid one.
-
If he becomes a rich man's Henderson he'd be one of the best midfielders in the PL. And honestly, out of all our youth players I believe Baker has the best chance to make it here, even ahead of Christensen. Baker is just THAT guy who will capitalise on his chance if he is given one.
-
By Levene's logic some random London tourist who attends a Chelsea game is a real supporter but someone who watches Chelsea week after week isn't.
