To be named as the best player of the PL you have to have more than a great shooting ability, pace etc. You need to be a big time player for many, many years, one that can change and decide a game on his own, one who is clutch enough to stand the pressure and make miracles happen. CR doesn't fit into that category. Btw, did anyone mention Cantona?
