I think you're too harsh on that. His 1-on-1 defending is quite okay, but it's true that he isn't a defensive monster like Ivanovic.

As much as I'm thankful for his accomplishments over all the years as sure I'm now that it's time to move on, for him and Chelsea, to part ways. A new era has to begin here at the Bridge and it's necessary that Drogs and a few other players leave in order to be able to start this new dynasty.

Remember, Bosingwa was a heck of a RB in his first season with Chelsea, but ever since those injuries he has never been the same
