Our main problem the last season was that we missed a "boss" in the midfield who dictates our tempo etc. I don't see how we have solved this problem so far. Hazard and Marin will be playing on the wings, Mata isn't defensive enough to be Mikel's partner next to him and Oscar hasn't shown yet that he's competitive in a European league. We rather should go after the likes of Moutinho who are experienced enough to be the missing part in our team.

Add to that the fact that we need experienced players who have already proven that they are of quality. It really shocks me that people have already forgotten where we had our real problems the last 2 seasons + it seems like as soon as there's a new "wonderkid" we are linked with almost everybody thinks that all our problems are solved. Thus Oscar would be a bad signing that doesn't fill our team needs.

To have a good season he should at least score 20 goals overall + be a game changer. Nothing more and nothing less.

After a legend like Drogba leaves your club you don't give "his" number to a role player. You just don't. Moses would be stupid to ask for #11 as the expectations would highly increase by the time he enters the Stamford Bridge for the first time. As hard as it may sound Zidane was just one of many superstars in Madrid, so that doesn't really count IMO. Handing Raul's number 7 to Ronaldo was far more critical. I don't really believe in destiny. You could of said the same thing about Torres when he was given Ossie's #9, yet he failed to make us proud.

No, I doubt that would happen. The number 11 is one of the most famous and popular numbers in the football business, hence it's very marketable which makes it very suitable for big signings. And tbh I don't consider Moses a big signing.
