On Benayoun we have to agree to disagree. Johnson is not a natural winger either. Johnson is a inside forward, he plays on the right and cuts on his preferd foot, same thing we will see from Sturridge this upcoming season. Neither Johnson or Sturridge will deliver the type of crosses you would see from a natural winger, watch a city game and you would notice that Johnson barely crosses. Since their style is similar i think it is fair and justified to compare the two. Also the name calling is not necessary, we all have different openions we should respect one another openions regardless of how much they vary, and may i also add that there is nothing honorable about calling someone stupid hiding behind a computer.

completely different situations we have here. Sturridge imprssed on every level last season whenever he was given a chance. guys like Cole were reaving about how well he was doing in training. On the other hand you and others are are having a knee jerk reaction over a few preseason games against the shittest teams we could ever play all season. while being completely ovlivious to the fact Yossi is an average player and shown over his career. There is a reason why he was warming the bench at Pool, if he wasn't good enough for Pool, then he is definitely not good enough to be starting for us.

Yossi is being incredibly overrated atm, no offense bro but i trust AVB judgement on why Yossi is not playing rather then some guy who is having knee jerk reaction based on a few preseason games. Perreira is a fine player no doubt, but i can understand the criticism since we have much more pressing need then a utility player.

If he is signed he will definitely be a utility player. We will still go after Modric, regardless if we sign Alvaro or not. I have noticed that The Telegraph writer Jason Burt has been calling this for a while, they also called the improved Chelsea offer for Mata before anyone else. He is basically the same player as Sturridge, he doesn't offer anything that Sturridge cant.

Nasri is up there with Bale for being the most overrated player in the league. I hope Arsenal doesn't sign Hazard because they would sign a much superior player practically at the same price they sold Nasri. 25m is an absloute joke for a player on the last year of his contract, and beside i don't think he is much of a upgrade over Adam Johnson.

Not sure if you know this but Bruma is still a Chelsea player. I am sure if Hamburg is signing Raj then Bruma is going to drop to the bench. I hope he gets recalled in that case.

Their playing style couldn't be further apart tbh. Ganso has had injury problem this year, but in both cases he recovered very fast.

Arsenal fans are overjoyed with the prospect of getting 25m for Nasri. Its a very good deal for Arsenal no doubt, he has only performed for 4months in his Arsenal career and he is on the last year of his contract. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up like Adebayor and become a complete flop at City. Very much baffled by the people here wanting Nasri at Chelsea.

It is the lineup which i believe AVB will go for. Who would you replace him with? Mikel? Ramires is not a holding midfielder, Mikel is by far better then him as a holding midfielder. Saw Ramires play as a DM for Brazil at Copa America, he was arguably the worst player on the pitch. Lampard? He is not getting benched this early in the season, he might if he continues to underperform. As i said this is the lineup which i believe AVB will prefer. If it was up to me i would start McEachran over Ramires and Lampard. :tophat:

30m for Mata or 35m for Hazard? I would definitely pay the extra 5m and go for Hazard, he is a much superior player. I rate Mata but i believe Hazard has the chance to go a lot further in his career.

Desperate??? If by we you mean Chelsea fans then i agree, but no way is Chelsea and AVB are getting desperate. There are many players better Nasri, for example Marvin Martin is one of them. He is outshining Nasri on the national stage.

No he is not a CM, i have seen little to none of him playing there. I have seen him play as a n10 for Arsenal and France, but never been impressed. He simply lacks creativity and the positioning to play as n10. Does anyone really think a player who has only been good for six months in his Arsenal career is worth 150,000K+ and 25m transfer fee?

That is the truth Nasri has only been good for six months, i am truly baffled how highly some Chelsea fans rate Nasri.

I wouldn't worry about Real Madrid because they want Neymar.

Mata is a good player but he is nowhere near the level of Hazard. Hazard is already better and has the potential to be one of the best players in the world, Mata doesn't have that potential. Mata is more realistic for us, because i don't see Hazard leaving this summer.
