  1. I agree with you to an extent. we have also missed their goals from deep. So many times our AM have find space on the edge of the box but can't shoot to save their lives and rather sky the ball or attempt a final ball that is often unsuccesful.
  2. What frustrates me personally is how our main weakness has been glaryingly for the past couple of seasons and yet we have been unable to find a successful solution. To our managements credit, they have done brilliantly with the recruitment of players to help solve this issue but its the tactical side of things that continues to let us down which I mainly attribute to slow ball movement and bad use of possession in the final third.
  3. So are we still the running away with the title or not. I said it back when we were flying and 8 points ahead of city that it's ridiculously early in the season to make any bullyish and confident predictions as things can and does change very quickly in this league. The pressure is well and truly on now and it's up to us to show our mettle. I fear our inability to cope with parked defences may once again be our downfall come may.
  4. And ladies and gentlemen, that's how you break down a parked defence.
  5. I suspect Bamford might stagnate as well if we don't integrate him into the first team next season. shipping him out on loan again shouldn't be an option. I have always said the best way to integrate youngsters is to keep the loan down to one season maximum. Let them train with the first team, learn from the senior plaayers, learn and adapt to the team's tactics and philosophy and most importantly get game time. When we continually farm this youngsters out on loan, they are faced with the almighty obstacle of adapting to different tactics and a totally new environment and furthermore these clubs have absolutely no incentive to play our youngsters unless they consistently perform superbly week in week out which is totally unrealistic for any player nevermind a youngster. If we had brought Chalobah back after his successful loan spell at watford and played him in the COC and FA cup with his minutes going up each season (Provided he shows promise ofcourse) that would have helped his development much better as he would have settled into the team and Jose's way and earn the manager's trust too. The extra motivation from playing first team football at Chelsea cannot be underestimated either.
  6. I wouldnt be against doing a matic on him but I cant ever see him being open to the idea
  7. Ah you are right. if we win trophies it will be because of squad fillers whose contributions are negligible at best and if we fail to succeed it will be because we played one or two youth players in meaningless games and COC . More salahs, Moses and marins please. fuck the youth and productive loaned players like Bamford and thorgan.
  8. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2014/12/17/7408429/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumor-lovre-kalinic-tino-sven-susic This right here is example of why no youth will ever break through at Chelsea. We had rather buy exceedingly average squad fillers like salah and Susic to eat up the minute and squad space that should be reserved for our most promising youths and loaned players and then wonder why we have such a terrible record.
  9. Even if that was true which I doubt he had other options he could have exhausted before Wilson if he was a manager that doesn't believe in youth. Herrera, Fletcher and Januzaj (who at this point is a certified first teamer/not considered a mere youth anymore) were available. Those 3 could have been used instead of wilson and one of them, Herrera, is a starter for them.
  10. All this could have been avoided had jose not made a ceremony and big deal out handing rlc his debut only to give him 8 minutes in a meaningless game. It reopened the debate about his and the club's record with youth development. That pre match press conf and post match interview, a clear PR stunt, were so cringeworthy, it motivated gary neville to write a fantastic article about youth development.
  11. What's the bullying tactics thats been going on recently on this forum. Can't posters have their own opinion and different perspective on things. Isnt that the whole purpose of a forum, to discuss and debate all things football related. If gilvorak thinks hazard's performance level has dropped and needs to do more that's his opinion and should never be criticised for it. This forum is full of bandwagoners and superfans with the maturity of a 9 year old. If you disagree with a post, argue your point and show why you think they are wrong instead of ganging up and attacking the poster. Its only on this forum where having a different opinion equals trolling and trying to be controversial. It's getting ridiculous.
  12. I can't say I have missed ramires at all.
  13. Wishing Zouma a speedy recovery. Hopefully it's just a minor concoction
  14. For those that follow the championship is this martin guy usually this cuntish?
  15. Zouma is actually a better passer than i give him credit for
  16. Matic better not be injured. that would be really really bad
  17. Are you guys sure its Derby we are facing tonight and not Bayern munich. Even fabregas and hazard are starting ffs in december when players need to be rested and rotated as much as possible.
  18. Remy can't even start versus fecking derby in COC and people think Bamford has a chance to get games with us next season lol
  19. exactly I doubt our trophy target will be derailed or sabotaged if we gave Boga and RLC the role Salah and Mikel currently occupy in the squad.
  20. I don't know about that one. You must mean bad/average and unintelligent defenders who believe the hype of their own technical ability too much like Luiz. better/world class defenders by their very nature make fewer mistakes, organise their defence and make their defensive partners better and this applies to even the most technically gifted ones. The ones you described are just bad defenders. If your team mates and managers have to adjust to your game and move mountains to cover up for your defeciencies then you are not reall a good defender. Some of the greatest defenders of all time were naturally skilled footballers actually and there ability to be ball playing defender has never come at the expense of the team.
  21. Well noteworthy Moments are usually born out of big occassions which comes at the business end of the season when games matter more like champions league semis and finals, crucial big games and title deciders etc.
  22. It's also likely that they will improve their defence in jan
