Kevin friend has to be investigated for corruption after this game. His bias is so obvious, it's unreal.

Its not even about going for the killer blow. The best way to see out a game for me is to frustrate the opponent by starving them of posession, keeping the ball really well, slowing the game down, high pressing, drawing fouls etc all of which falls under game/time management. We rarely do these things. What we do instead is give away posession cheaply and just sit back to defend deep and hoping for the best, inviting unneccessary pressure which usually backfires. IMOit's a tactical issue because I believe we have ebough quality in the team to see out games much better than we have been doing this season.

Stop moaning

You are missing the point. No one is talking about going gungho especially when ahead by two goals. I used Man city as reference because they manage the game much better than us ,and bar one or two games this season, they rarely lose or draw from a wining position because of it. How many points have we dropped this season from a winning position? quite a lot is the answer. which would suggest that our way isn't working. if you keep losing leads then you need to rethink your strategy.

Ok the campaign is well and truly in motion
-
Also his tactics have become ridiculously predictable and repititive. play strictly defensive in big games Bring on drogba when we are chasing the game despite already having a similar player in costa on the pitch, a strategy that usually disrupts the balance of the team and has proven ineffective. Bring on a defender for an attacker in the closing stages when a goal ahead. Sit back and defend deep as a way to see out a game which usually invutes pressure and makes the players nervous and panick. And so on and so forth

When is he going to learn that defending isn't the best form of attack. He needs to learn and coach better time and game management to this team. sitting back deep to defend isn't going to cut it as it's a strategy that has backfired on us throughout the season. Man city for example wouldn't have retreated into their shell like a pussy if they were in a similar position. In fact they thoroughly outplayed us at the etihad with 10 men.

Here are my thoughts A lacklustre performance overall, too many loose passes and indecisiveness in the final third We should have had two penalties in the first halfOur game management leaves a lot to be desired, once we went one man down, we should have slowed the game down and try to maintain possession instead of just sitting back to defend. The manager was even getting ready to bring on a defender for a striker just seconds before the goal. This aspect is where the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool are much better than us.Again we paid the ultimate price for not killing the game off before it was too lateOur disciplinary record is worrying, however the Burnley twat should have also seen red for a dangerous tackle

Thats a clear pen

Im really liking the way hazard and cuadrado have been linking up. The two are developing a good understanding

I only used him as a reference.

THIS. I literally just posted a similar comment below. This is the crux of the issue behind most people's frustration regarding Jose.
-
What is constructive criticism? highlighting his one dimensional tactical acumen and his inability to make us not play like a rich man's Westham/stoke in the big games which has been a recurring team throughout his time here sounds constructive to me. Some are simply fed up of watching the awful football he consistently serves up in virtually every big game, even our home performance in these type of games this season has been equally as poor as the away games. It can be excused, like in previous seasons, when our team wasn't equipped to play decent enough football in these games but not anymore.
-
A striker that can do this will go a long long way to solving our lack of creativity and goal threat problem in big games. This is what hold up and link up play looks like, something we have massively lacked since prime Drogba days.
-
Nasri wasn't wrong afterall
-
Atleast he didnt blame the fans this time.why can't he just hire an offensive coach to direct attacking drills in training like fergeuson use to do, that way he can focus on what he's actually good at and the team benefits greatly from the balance it brings.
-
Jose said the draw was a fair result. In what world?
-
You are not the only one. I have raised the same concerns numerous times on here before and was condemned for it. Remove his goalls/finishing,is his allround game really that much better than lukaku's?. They have the same shitty aerial ability for one.
-
Then young players like bamford are studying the wrong subject. They should be studying players like lewadowski, giroud, drogba, gomis et al instead on how to shield the ball, maintain posession and bring others into play because costa is terrible at it. Young players can study his movement and finishing though.

Are you not entertained

Looking for a Mr Cesc Fabregas, Last seen, 17/2/2015 at 19:00 on the Chelsea bus arriving from London to Paris, if found please contact Stamford bridge on 08452324758.

Jose should buy him a nice bottle of wine because he literally saved his ass tonight.
-
This is not even about close control or technical ability per se (although it's a part of it). It's his inability to use his body to shield the ball and bring others into play. Look at Giroud for example, he's no where near the likes of Suarez,Aguero et al in terms of technique and despite that he maintains a consistently good all round play.
