Did he actually say that? if he did, then he's no different than avb and rafa in terms of post match interview bollocks and bullshit
-
I wonder how long the mediocrity aka transition will last for.
-
Jose will just attribute the terrible extra time performance to fatigue, eggs and yolk and em "transition". is there any buzz word I have left out?
-
I thought he's absolutely useless and has no redeeming features? they must have lied to me
-
Don't worry lads. guarin will sort out our lack of creativity from deep issue
-
I see what's going on here. Jose bemoans the lack of physicality in the squad, especially in relation to man city and in response, emenalo embarks out on a scouting mission to find the most athletic beasts in europe regardless of talent levels. . .. . Akinfenwa and Elokobi are next. be scared guys.
-
I find it ironic that Jose accused rafa of sucking the confidence out of JT (which I agree with) when that's pretty much the same thing he has done to our best player for the past 2 seasons
-
once again? when has he ever shut his critics up. playing well for 2 or 3 games then making a brainfarted mistake the next game, rinse, washed and repeat over the course of the season. that's the summary of Luiz's chelsea career. when he cuts out the brainfarts, shows focus and full commitment, improves his decision making, anticipation, tactical awareness and so on, then I will be the 1st to commend him. Ramires and Drogba (to a lesser extent) were the only chelsea players that I have seen shut the critiques up in recent times and they didn't need 10 seasons and 220 gazzilion months to turn it around either. when and if ever Luiz becomes a real and consistent defender, I will have no problem giving him his due props just like I did with ramires. for now he's nothing more than a technically gifted but distinctively and un-remarkably average defender as much as that assessment might hurt the feelings of his "fans". I have always maintained talent means nothing if not correctly applied.. . .so all the "luiz is very talented" talk doesn't impress me one bit. give me a limited but amazingly consistent and great defenders like JT, hyypia, carragher et al in their primes over a Luiz any day of the week

And jose also said we wouldn't buy any striker if our attempt to get rooney failed w eknow how that ended. and if Jose bought a £30m plus left back as a squad player (coentrao madrid) and William another expensive squad player then why would this rumor seem outrageous or unbelievable to anyone.
-
So we should spend 18m on a stop gap because we can't get genuine quality in jan? is that what you are saying here? It's funny because we wouldn't have needed a stop gap in the first place if emenalo, jose and co didn't act so incompetently in the summer and made the right decisions to address the main issues in the squad. instead they splashed a combined £48m on two attacking midfielders that weren't needed and a further £8m on a box to box midfielder. the money that should have used in securing one or even two top quality central midfielder/regista instead.
-
You are asking the wrong question. more like "why did we buy Van Ginkel (another box to box sans attacking midfielder) instead of Strootman (a legit central midfielder/regista). People can wax lyrical about the great things emenalo or whoever is in charge of transfers at the club have done all they want but when you spend over 340 million on transfers over the past 4 seasons and the squad is still very unbalanced and low on overall quality, which has hugely led to regression in performances and result over that period in the league then serious questions need to be asked about the competency of those in charge of transfer dealings. What is the use of unlimited resources/money if you cannot spend it wisely?
-
Out of all the CM's in europe why this guy. our transfer policy just keeps getting weirder and more retarded each year. I bet some people will try to put a positive spin on this move and try to insult our intelligence by painting Guarin as the second coming of Viera
-
At this rate many will grow grey hair and lose all their teeth while waiting for this "mythical potential" of Luiz to come to fruition
-
No it's not hard to imagine. . . it's called fanboyism and it is a condition that has been known to cloud people's judgement and/or distort reality.
-
We don't need a tackler in CM, we already have ramires for that. what we need is a pace setter and distributer.
-
Since when has our transfer policy made sense?
-
RLC to feature nevermind start a first team match this season under JM. hell will freeze over before that happens
-
So because quality dlp/cm's aren't available in jan (arguable) is justification for us to buy an average midfielder we don't even need at all in jan?. why not do the sensible thing and wait until CM's become available in the summer.
-
Wow post of the year without a doubt. covers everything in a nutshell. and it's no surprise it has only 3 likes since it's a critical evaluation of "gawd" mourinho.
-
The whole world can see we are in dare need of a central midfielder/regista and what are we linked with. yet another box to box midfielder. why are we paying these so called professionals (scouts, technical director et al) so much to make retarded football decisions?
-
Hazard, cesar and JT have been our best players so far. essien has actually been decent which is a surprise and rarity these days.
-
You would think such simple elementary rule of attacking wouldn't be a problem for any experienced striker to grasp and execute.
-
Don't worry emenalo will buy more attacking midfielders and wingers in jan and next summer. when all else fails, buy more AM's.
-
This is what lack of patience, strategy, vision and commitment to stick with such vision leads to. We are probably preparing a bid of Chalobah plus 45 million for Falcao in jan as we speak
-
Here's a noble idea. instead of playing an AM as a false 9, how about we focus our energy on moving the ball quickly and learm how to create more clear cut chances for the strikers we have. because no matter how bad some people may think our current strikers are, the law of averages will still take it's due course if we are doing everything right in a creative sense and a couple of those chances will find the back of the net. I'm willing to take the bet that Ba, eto'o and torres would score more goals if they played for creative teams like arsenal, bayern, dortmund et al.
