Doesn't the amortization of player contracts help with FFP? I thought it was only the annual salary that counted towards it and not the total value of the signing.

If PSG can buy Silva, Ibra, Lavezzi, Pastore, ect within a transfer window or 2 without fear of FFP and are still looking to bring in more stars then there isn't any reason why we can't pay £48m for Falcao. It's absolutely not about whether we can afford him, it's purely about desire now. If Roman wants him and Falcao wants to be a Chelsea player he will be. Just give him a contract with wages n par with Torres' and he'd be happy I'd imagine.
