You can be sure that at least once per week until their next manager is appointed there will be journalists saying how sad he is and how glum he looks and we'll hear that bullshit story about how he was in tears that he didn't get the job. If José blinks twice in quick succession it's a sign that he desperately wants the job. If he goes a day without shaving and has a bit of stubble in his next press conference we'll see people commenting on how he looks "haggard and tired" and how he's depressed about settling for his 2nd option Chelsea.

I'm sure it would be appealing to him at least a little bit because their ownership would be so desperate to return to the top that they'd probably let José spend £200m to totally strip and rebuild the side. Thing is, he's got a nearly complete "Mourinho" side here already and is only 2-3 players away. No way can I see him going there at any point during his current contract. Their only shot was last summer and they've missed it.

If by any chance José did take that job it would bring me REALLY close to giving up on watching football. That would be the ultimate betrayal. He wouldn't shit on the supporters like that though.

Wouldn't necessarily want him here, but I think he'd be like Sturridge has turned out to be. If he's actually given a featured role in his natural position I think he'd be a very good player. You can tell he's really talented and most of the mistakes he makes are due to being in and out of the lineup and limited time on the pitch. Think his level is probably a side like Spuds or Everton.

Are Juve a super rich club that can afford to reject high bids? Would/could they just reject £40m+ straight away or are they like Atletico or the Portuguese sides who must sell to manage debts? I'm not familiar at all with the Italian clubs and their transfer dealings.

Can anyone recall a worse squad to win the title in recent years? Sides around them changing managers, not being in Europe, United hiring an incompetent idiot, Arsenal being Arsenal, Spuds being Spuds, and two strikers in the form of their lives against teams who can't defend. If you asked a Liverpool fan before the season to use their imagination to create a pure fantasy scenario they couldn't have made this season more perfect. Sickening.

This is why I can't take Liverpool seriously as a title winner or an elite side. Not only has EVERYTHING gone their way this season but they're terrible defensively. They'll finish 4th next season, 3rd max. They won't be able to maintain the level of intensity and will actually need to rotate their squad. This current Liverpool side would get utterly blown away by any good European CL side. Bayern, both Madrid sides, Barca, any side really would put 5 past this defense.

Flanagan wouldn't make our bench. Average player benefiting from playing in a specific system with good players around him. As with all English youngsters he's getting the usual ridiculous praise.

This is the difference that having world class strikers and a plan in the final third makes. Liverpool fucking terrify all these small sides and put silly scores past them. The same sides know that we're blunt in attack so they just pack the box and there isn't shit we can do about it. Depressing thinking about how out of sight we'd be this season with proper forwards. Or even with an in form Mata playing with Hazard and Eto'o.

I would seriously just tell Juve to name their price. We would be fucking unstoppable domestically and even dominate many very good sides in Europe with Vidal & Matic in midfield. I would happily forgo buying a LB and use that money to throw at Vidal. Costa and Vidal in and give Ash another 1 year contract. We always exit a transfer window saying "we only need such and such and we'll be set." Just buy the striker and midfielder we need and let's get to winning the league like we should be.

I defended him like mad last season when opposition fans called him a terrible footballer who relies solely on him pace and athleticism. It appears they're correct. The most infuriating player in our team. Can't pass, can't shoot, has total brain dead moments MULTIPLE TIMES PER GAME, and just has terrible decision making. He regularly gifts the opponent possession in our half and just can't resist the urge to tackle a ball that is lost and gives up retarded fouls. I cannot stand watching him anymore. We 100% need to buy a WORLD CLASS midfielder and use Ramires only as an impact sub against tired sides and in early cup competitions. He's been a total shambles this season and shit all over the faith José placed in him.

That's the problem.I've said time and time again that he can play deeper in the pivot next to Matic. Can't be worse than Ramires. He's a better passer, isn't a foul magnet, and can actually shoot accurately and score.

Didn't think he played badly at all. He's just being asked to play a role that he can't play and that's being a creative #10. He doesn't have the vision to unlock defenses like the player we sold to United. He was aggressive today and tried his best, but his first instinct is to shoot when we need someone who looks to assist rather than score. I love him and he's one of my 2-3 favorite players on our team, but we made a mistake in thinking he's in Mata's class as a #10. We'd be beating Villa, Palace, West Brom, and Sunderland with him in the lineup.

Can't wait until next season. Excited about the CL this season and even more excited about what our team will look like next year. Fuck watching Liverpool win the title. Watching only our matches and then total football blackout.

We miss Mata. No two ways about it, nobody can deny it. We lose time and time again to these types of sides. Our team has no balls just as José said. When the going gets tough, instead of focusing more and going all out we pull our pants down and take it. No ideas in the final third. I hope next season we never have to see Ramires start.
