Oscar + cash for you know who. Good deal for all involved. Both clubs get their midfielde sorted for the next 10 years potentially and neither side comes out of the deal looking bad. Both clubs get great players. Pogba would be our one "splash" signing and the midfield player José said he wanted. Falcao, Pogba, and another depth squad signing or two and we're set.
He's been given absolutely zero service just like at United here. I stopped watching after Venezuela scored. Boring match because the buildup play is so poor.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a quality stream in YouTube in a few minutes so I can watch he and Cuadrado against Venezuela. I wanna see how good his movement and sharpness are.
Seems like every day for the past week or two there is a report that he's "hours away" from being announced as a Chelsea player or within the next 24 hours.
It'll make me sick if Pogba ends up at City. Even more sick if he goes without us putting in a bid. Surely he'd choose us over them if the money were similar?
-------------------Costa------------------ Hazard-------------------------Griezmann -----------------Fabregas----------------- ----------Matic-----------Schneiderlin-------- Azpi---------Terry------Cahill--------Ivanovic ------------------Courtois------------------- That's a completely realistic team. One big money signing in Griezmann and Schneiderlin for a good £25m. That team has incredible balance and athleticism as well as goals from all four attacking positions. Willian would still get loads of playing time and be an important player.
If he's still as good as I remember him being I wouldn't mind him. We could basically put a brick wall in front of our back 4 and just behind Cesc which would free him from pretty much any defensive responsibility. Simlar to Matic, he's not just a destroyer of a DM. He's great with the ball at his feet and can pick out a pass.
No chance they sell to United. They'd let him rot before doing that. City and ourselves are the only English clubs I think they'd sell to straight up. Arsenal only if it involves a player swap. Don't think Arse need him at all, honestly. Not really an upgrade on a fully fit Walcott.
Has Salah/Moses/Cuadrado/Marin written all over him in my opinion. Yet another attacking mid that would come here and struggle to be effective and we'd be looking to replace him in a season or two. We need a proven commodity for this position not another gamble.
If we did that we're dumber than Liverpool with our money. Unless Falcao hops in a secret hot tub time machine and reverts back to his old self and scores 25 PL goals next season.
Still abysmal at the back, shit keeper, bang average midfield with Henderson and Can, and Sturridge is a constant crock. No chance they get top 4 next season. They'll do well to move up a place no nick Spuds to 5th.
