If City and ourselves win this weekend, title race over?
-
I cannot stand Firminho. He's ugly as fuck and always has the dumbest, cheesiest celebrations.
-
Liverpool will win this 4-2, watch.
-
Any further word on Snodgrass? He's really their only consistently dangerous player. Don't think Hull really have anything to trouble us if he isn't playing.
-
Kind of glad that most of our rivals play tomorrow and we don't until Sunday. Whichever way their results go it'll ensure our boys will have added motivation to win. Arsenal and Liverpool have bankers while United have a tough one against Stoke. Then we hope for a City win. As long as we maintain our focus and don't think Hull at home is are an afterthought this should be a straightforward 3 points. Need the momentum heading in to Anfield.

United really don't get enough stick in the press for their terrible purchases these past few years. Memphis, Schniederlin, Darmian, Schweinsteiger, Shaw who doesn't even play, Ashley Young, Di Maria, Falcao... Just awful.
-
Fantastic if true! I was just thinking how nice it would be for us if some club either turned his head or bought him before we played them.
-
Didn't come to mind at first but now that it's been mentioned, he does shar many similarities with Raheem Sterling. He's basically Sterling on steroids. He's a bit of a brainless pace merchant who can absolutely destroy teams when on form. You'd have to think a top manager may be able to improve his consistency but would he get games here in order to do so? Don't see how, really. If we want another tricky wide player why not just use Musonda?
-
These are special circumstances. He probably now holds a grudge against us that he'll never let go of. He probably feels like we humiliated him. No way will he want to potentially strengthen us. We saw how much he was against selling Cech to Arsenal. A young player like Shaw who has the potential to be top class could come back to really haunt him. I think Shaw will do a Mkhitaryan and eventually lock down a place for them.
-
Griezmann and Pogba are lovers so that ship has sailed. He's off to United. Id rather have a beast of a striker that can do it all like Diego.
-
I'd still gladly have him here but no chance José would sell him here.
-
True. Forgot about Vertonghen, too. Lets hope John Stones decides to put his brain in before the game this time.
-
That would be lovely, wouldn't it? Not only to widen the gap for us but also to knock Spuds fans down a peg. I just can't see it with the state of City's defense. Luckily, City are home so they shouldn't just roll over like they did against Everton.
-
I'm with you guys here. He's a player who shows flashes of brilliance here and there but is nowhere near consistent enough for Chelsea yet. Unless Conte feels he can mould him into a star, this just seems like a huge gamble.
-
Think he would've been a great option to have in addition to Costa but I'm just not sure Morata is a good enough like for like replacement for him. Can't see him scoring 25 goals in the league like Costa will if he comes back in the team.
-
If he wants out so desperately just sell him so he doesn't become a cancer in the changing room. And hurry up before it's too late in the window.
-
Just what I was thinking. That Liverpool side looks like a midtable team on paper. Klopp has done amazingly well to get these players t raise their levels. Comfortable United win here, I think. On one hand that would be good for us, on the other I want to see Mou squirm...hmmm
-
Don't see how or where Griezmann possibly fits in United's XI next season. Ibra is nailed on to start every PL match up top. They have Mkhitaryan and Mata who both play just behind and Martial who plays wide. Not to mention signing another striker would kill Rashford's chances. Unless Mou plays multiple players out of position (which he never likes to do) then Griezmann makes no sense. He likes to play with one pure #9 like Drogba, Costa, and now Ibra. Can't see him suddenly changing to a 2 striker system. He would be yet another Galactico, vanity signing who they don't even need. Like Real Madrid they sign big names just because they can regardless of fit.
-
Completely shut Leicester down. They couldn't penetrate our defense at all. This is the sort of result a world class manager brings. Get in!
-
We have to pick up the pace. Playing right into their hands and allowing them to boss the midfield if we play like zombies.
-
Willian and Matic have been abysmal.
-
Christ, it's like we've regressed into walking speed since the goal. So slow! Hold the ball and play along the ground, FFS!
-
Loads of pace for Leicester to hit us on the counter with. Luiz and Cahill have to be switched on 100% of the time or they'll get Man City'd.
-
Michy is gone, surely.
-
The key is that they've got 2 wingbacks who are natural defenders and also have ridiculous pace. Good as we've been in the formation, Moses and Alonso have always been our Achilles heel. One isn't a defender and the other is as slow as Fabregas.
