True. It's just hard to imagine Conte resting 2 of Baka/Kante/Cesc at the same time. Could be injuries, though. Like others have said, I'm coming around to this idea. Will be a decent signing.
-
I'm just trying to picture scenarios where he actually gets meaningful minutes and isn't just a bench warming League Cup player. I mean, now that Bakayoko is approaching full fitness and Cesc is still very much an important player when does Drinkwater get a game?
-
That was quick.
-
Rumblings starting that United may try to get him. Don't care if he goes to City because their attack is already crazy. United I think he takes up a whole new level.
-
Wouldn't actually surprise me in the least if an hour from now we see "BREAKING: Liverpool have matched Chelsea's offer"
-
It's a bit confusing for me. Where does Lemar slot into Liverpool's first XI? They already have great wingers in Mané and Salah, plus they have Firmino and Lallana who are key attacking players. From what I'm reading Lemar's best position is where Mane plays. So they're spending mega money on the strongest area of their team? Like City, Liverpool signing more attackers doesn't really scare me since they're already excellent there. They still have a shit defense and a shit keeper. If they sign VVD and a top RB then I'll be worried.

Lots and lots of Chelsea fans on Twitter crying and saying "Liverpool are signing Keita and Lemar and we're going after Ox and Drinkwater!!1"
-
Liverpool signing Naby Keita today who will join next season and are heavily linked with Lemar. Either they're spending the Coutinho money before announcing the sale as to soften the blow or they're finally ready to compete with the other big boys in terms of transfer fees.
-
Not English, not homegrown, has off the pitch issues. Also can't play in 3-4 positions like Ox can. I'd have loved Aurier but Ox makes much more sense for us.
-
We really believing what some random fan accounts on Twitter say now? Come on, guys.
-
Don't need him any longer.
-
Honestly, I think Ty may be an android created by Arsenal's board to spread the clubs message and propaganda.

Perfect example today of why Conte is a top manager. Many including me were questioning why Cesc was starting in a midfield 2 in what was supposed to be a very tough game. To us, the sensible thing would've been to start Bakayoko and bring on Cesc later of needed. Conte obviously knew that Cesc would be key in this match and he indeed dominated the first half. Can't wait to see a 3 of Cesc/Kante/Baka at some point. Hopefully soon!

Ramsey is the stereotypical Arsenal player of the last 10 years. Looks pretty decent when the team are playing well around him. Looks like an average, midtable player most of the time. Wouldn't make our bench. Just like Walcott, Welbeck, and most of Arsenal's players honestly. Fair weather players. Arsenal are a fair weather team.
-
Yep. I bet Cahill walks straight back in even if Toni/Andreas impress yet again against Leicester after the break.
-
Like Alexis, he needs a change of scenery and to play in a team that's together as a unit and well coached.
-
When he's allowed to do literally whatever he wants against defenders who allow him acres of space this is what happens.
-
Are you a weeb by any chance, Jase? 😄

My only concern/annoyance was Moses. I swear he gave away about 5 stupid fouls on Baines. The scouting Conte would have been hammering home all week in training was not to allow Sigurdson opportunities on setpieces and that was really the only way Everton threatened today. It was Moses giving them away. His football brain is really lacking. Upgrade and competition really needed this next week!
-
I think he was gesturing to his little daughter up in the luxury box. Anyways, I thought we could've been a bit more assertive in the second half and pressed harder for more but since Everton weren't bothered we sort of just dropped our intensity to their level. Great to head into the break with two massive wins.
-
Morata gets used to the constant physicality and players pushing him from behind and he'll score bucket loads. That's the only thing that's been subpar in his first couple of appearences.
-
Excellent first half! Cesc, Morata, Willian, and Rüdiger were all fantastic. I'd stick with this XI for another 20 or so minutes in the second half and then bring on Baka to just see us out.
-
Everton will have 3 mobile midfielders buzzing around Cesc. That's the danger area.
-
Fabregas in a midfield 2 again. 😑😑😑

Fucked up that the game is broadcast live here in the States but not in the country that it's being played in. 😂
