If Cahill just plays within himself and sticks to the things he's good at he's a solid player. It's when he tries to act like he's David Luiz with the ball where he gets clumsy and reckless. For the love of God, don't be an idiot! Honeslty, I'll be very disappointed here if we can't assert ourselves on them. If we struggle and get outplayed at home while they're missing their best two attacking players it'll seriously dent the confidence I have gained after our last few matches.

The title will probably come down to the battle amongst the big boys. Unlike other seasons where the top sides drop a bunch of silly points against the smaller sides, I can't picture United, City, Spuds, or ourselves dropping many points against the small teams. Arsenal and Liverpool will since they are either bottlers or soft defensively.

Think both Liverpool and City will be the big clubs that will give us the most trouble. Pace and class from wide areas are what can hurt us. Already dreading Salah against Alonso...

Say what you want about the signing of Drinkwater, he's an important squad member and one we could really have used during this congested period. Have to say he's a pretty big loss now. Anyway, Zappa looks very good. Batshuayi is such a strange player. Some of the times the bal zips into him he controls it just fine and plays a tidy lay off for a teammate. Most of the time it zips into him and he can't control it at all. So frustrating. Funnily enough, it seems to be a common trait amongst the current Belgium strikers. Lukaku and Benteke are the exact same way. If he wants to play more often he's got to make the ball stick when it's played up to him.

Nice team, but as I said earlier I'd have rested Kante. With the number of games we have this month, resting him for our two easiest ones (this and the league cup game) would probably be beneficial. Be great if Zappa and Bats do well here.

Was pretty obvious when the footage of Morata saying goodbye to his teammates on the training ground came out that Zidane was surprised and caught off guard. Can't say enough about Morata having the balls and desire to leave his comfort zone to go and establish himself as the main man. Must be said, it's hilarious if you check Twitter during or after many Real Madrid matches these days and seeing loads and loads of their fans complaining about how much better Morata is than Benzema and how angry they are he was sold. 😂

If Bats does indeed start he really needs to grab the opportunity by the horns and prove his worth. Seems sort of the forgotten man right now. Needs to prove to Conte that it's safe to rotate Morata and not see our level drop off a cliff. I'm thinking Kante is the only big player we should rest. Play Cesc and Baka in midfield.

I think Dybala will go to City (which would be a step down in terms of clubs) for mega money and Griezmann will go to United for mega money. Those will be next summers flashy signings is my guess. We can go after Belotti.

Perfectly said. Was browsing the United forum after the game and saw quite a bit of "Chelsea wasted money on Rüdiger when Souma is better" posts. Clearly they haven't watched Toni and are basing their opinion on one viewing of Zouma. He's not even in Rüdiger's league yet on the ball or in terms of decision making. Zouma is a freak of nature athlete who is still raw.

I can see Atleti scoring a lot against Qarabag so hopefully we also take them very seriously and score as many as possible ourselves. No playing a weak team like many of our fans are suggesting.
