I noticed Knockeart isn't in their squad today and he has been their most dangerous player whenever I've watched Brighton this season. Izquierdo is also on their bench and I e seen him look very dangerous as well. Even with us missing so many players, if the ones that are starting here perform at their best level we should easily have enough to beat a promoted side.

Team as expected. What a terrible time to pick up so many injuries and have suspensions. So little quality in depth today.

As much as Conte doesn't seem to fancy Bats, I highly doubt he'd start Musonda over him.

I don't know which I'm most concerned about, our attack with Bats leading the line or our midfield with zero creativity due to Cesc being out.

I just think he's the sort of striker that we wouldn't need to worry about our overall level and goal threat dropping off a cliff with him starting games. That's what we need. We looked like a blunt butter knife when Batshuayi played. Dzeko is a huge threat in the air and with his feet and is a physical handful as well. Basically what i'm saying is I wouldn't be shitting myself or nervous about Morata being injured/suspended if Dzeko is the one filling in. Only downside to bringing him in is the fact he's cup tied in the CL. He'd cause Barca trouble coming on late in the games.

Now this is more like it. Dzeko on a short term deal as a rotational option would be fantastic if he'd actually agree to it.

I know, right!? Watching Zappa and Alonso trying to do so is painful. Alonso is too slow to run by anyone and Zappacosta tries the same move that hardly ever comes off. Moses is much better but still not great.

Absolutely dreading this now. Even though Morata has been off the boil I'd have backed him to score here. Pedro being out too takes away a dangerous weapon at a time when we're struggling to score. Think this'll be another snore of a game with the players we have missing. No Cesc either, right? Barkley time for some added forward thrust? Would be surprised if we aren't out of the top 4 after this weekend, unfortunately. 😕
