Billy is amazing on the ball and at offering his teammates a pass. What a player he can become. I think all but 2-3 players were outstanding that first half. Unfortunately, we can clearly see that this isn't a comfortable 3 points yet. We're giving them just enough of a sniff that they'll feel confident they can score here.

Alonso in a back 4 is just an accident waiting to happen. Going forward great, so sketchy at the back. Especially with Zouma beside him.

Everton have a pretty decent looking team, tbf. This will take some excellent performances from our whole XI to get 3 points.

We need to start to come to with the idea of Sancho at United. Unless Real Madrid somehow gets shot of Bale that's his only other option I'd say. Us signing Ziyech was the end of our pursuit. Honeslty, I think Ziyech will be just as productive as Sancho, if not even more so as long as we buy intelligently in the summer. At only a quarter of the price as well.

At this point we should just start hoping more and more that City's ban is held in place for at least 1 of the 2 years they got so that 5th place gets into the CL. Because we're almost surely going to be limping along for the rest of the season. One match we'll look great and the next we'll be shocking. Same could be said about everyone else, though.

Giroud is a better all around footballer than Tammy is. Don't think anyone can disrupted that. As we'll he should be since he's a 33 year old finished product and Tammy is a 21 year old kid. I would stick with Giroud for a while even if Tammy is fit. Until it looks like Giroud is struggling.

Our defending (NO MATTER WHO IS PLAYING) is seriously no better than any of the relegation zone sides. Honestly, we are fucking shocking at the back. And it's basic, school boy mistakes.

Like Bayern, the thing that makes me most jealous about City is the fact that nearly everyone in their entire roster is ultra comfortable on the ball. Receiving it when being pressed, passing it instantly with one touch, knowing exactly where their teammates are or are going to be. Even their bloody goalkeeper is better on the bal than many of our outfield players! Meanwhile, we have what...only like 2-3 players who don't panic when they get pressed? Willian, Kova...I'm actually struggling to think of anyone else actually. Look at Rodri and Güdogan for example. Both are just as slow and unathletic as Jorginho. But both are almost completely resistant to the press becasue they only take a touch or two and get rid. Jorginho sometimes takes forever with the ball and loses it.

Madrid completely and totally implode. They were relatively comfortable and then just completely tired out. They have gotten nothing from Benzema and nothing from the right side of their attack.
