i am quite happy with our HD. gives us a clear enough quality to actually know what is happening on the pitch. sometimes when u get very good quality u dont to look at the finer and infact the finest points, PAL.

a 25 man squad with 5 midfielders (deep), 8 defenders, 6 attacking midfielders and 3 strikers is proof enough that neither he nor baker or josh or any other "youth" player in going to get a look in unless we are ravaged with injury or are playing hopelessly useless dead rubbers. ake is playing "EUROPEAN" football. youth CL is a better chance to grow and develop than playing at vitesse or some championship team. it gives the experience of "big european nights" and will definitely help his experience overall. also it was ake himself who wanted to stay here at chelsea and not go on loan. this is his 3rd season at chelsea and thus from now on he will be classified as a "homegrown player in the CL group". so please know all the facts before critisizing mourinho for every small thing.

so mikel was "dropped" after putting in 2 decent performances against whu and basel but lamps was "rested" after putting in an awful, horrendous, abysmall, hopeless performance against basel. the arguments keep getting better and better.

he was good? he lost the ball/he threw away the ball/he gifted the ball about 5 times in the first half. we have a player in mikel who is a decent DM and can do what essien must have done today. i simply cant see the use of essien in this squad except for taking some valuable minutes away from our youth.

dont see why we need essien for that. ake can do that too and definitely better than what essien did today.

cech azpi cahill luiz cole rambo mikel willian mata schurrle torres i am guessing that JT might be a little tired after 3 consecutive games, otherwise, i dont see the need to change GC-JT. iva probably needs some rest too, otherwise we can go with the same back 4. all those asking for essien to be started must have been satisfied by now, so i ll take the more tried and tested mikel-rambo. oscar looks jaded and he can pretty well do with some rest. as for hazard, i still cant understand exactly how he has been better than schurrle that he gets to start every match while schurrle is warming the bench. even though ba was phenomenol today, torres was great too.
