oh really??? the last time i checked schurrle got a goal against city, was defending for the team playing his heart off and in general has been far more effective on the left hand side than hazard has been (offensively and defensively). i would have given hazard the benefit of doubt had he been better than schurrle atleast in attack, but "he really hasnt".

strange how we would drop 3 CAMs (oscar, mata, kdb) on the bench or from the matchday squad itself just to give hazard a look in. WHY? what is every1's deal with hazard here. we are willing to sacrifice our team's win and performance just so hazard can get more involved!!!

really?? no one told rdm/rafa/avb/jose that. moreover for the last 2 season lamps has been winning european titles while playing in the CM/DM position. so now i am a bit confused!!!

our top players did play in the important and the core of that team will be the same against wba too. lamps and cole will not and should not start.

he takes players on. he is direct. he is not creative on the ball cos he does not need to be. he has a mind-blowing long shot (watch him play for germany). he does what a winger SHOULD be doing. provides us with width and spread the play nicely. also his workrate and closing down can simply kill the opposition.

^this. never really liked the idea of a january transfer window. i feel the only dealings that should be done in the january transfer window should be 1. if the player-board/manager relation goes sour. 2. if the team is performing reallly poor and u need some1 desperately to do damage control. 3. big,major,nuclear injury crisis.

hahahaha... what has hazard done this entire season to warrant a start over schurrle? schurrle has been more of a threat attackingly, much much more effective in defence. he has been doing what hazard should have been doing, BEING DIRECT. all in all after being dropped after the man city game where he got the ever so important first goal, i dont see why he should be dropped again after giving a good performance.

maybe u r right in defending cech there. and while i keep saying it was a moment of brilliance from aguero, i still feel cech could have done a little better had he been positioned better. anyways coming to GC's part in the goal. this clip from TOPTB is awesome. look at agueor at 6 seconds. he starts taking a run behind GC but just lingers on/ holds his run for a second (probably even takes a step back from the goal to be played on). u have to say thats a phenomenal run from a striker.

why do i feel that both of us are saying the same thing. the only difference being, i am giving iva the benefit of doubt as he has been brilliant defensively, working really hard for the team and he gives an awesome tactical advantage to mou to go 3-4-3 when in need for a goal. while u and others are , rightly, condemning him for his malfunctioning in the last 3rd.

read the post above yours from TOPTB. also please dont say aguero was 1v1 against cech. the ball was moving away from the ball with gc alongside aguero and the only outlet being cech's nearpost is barely going 1v1.

the goal also would not even have happened if cech was covering his near post which he should have been as there was nothing else on for aguero in that situation. again, not saying that GC was faultless but to blame him majorly for that goal is...

i was highlighting iva's attacking contribution in my last post. about how he helps our RW find space because of his continous runs up and down the field.

more than GC's "error", u have to say it was aguero's brilliance. aguero was off already came back on as the ball was been played and timed his run to perfection. i am not saying GC was not at fault at all but u have to give credit where its due. it was a moment of magic for aguero (the run, the shot) and if goals are conceded to such moments and only to such moments, i dont see any problem with it.

that is a very poor view of iva's workrate. i admit his use of the ball is poor but his runs always stops the opposition from doubling on our RW. i mean look at AC and hazard situtation this season. AC simply is never able to take a defender along with him and give hazard the space he requires. specially the man city match. if u remember, how many times did iva pull off silva/nasri along with him just by his runs.

seriously? near post, acute angle. i would take my chances with cech to stop that rather than a defender trying to steal the ball or try to intercept the ball and simply let the aguero thru.

a defenders primary objective is to defend and iva has been a beast in that. he has been briliant and solid defensively. and we have to commend his work rate to keep running up and down the bloody pitch to get himself into good positions so many times. his crossing does need a little work on it, but it still does not change the fact that he has been our best and 2nd best defender (after JT) this season.

more importantly, JT+GC - 2 goals, one from benteke (unstoppable, off the post, and the other from aguero, gk error). also they have looked solid at the back and we simply have looked sure of ourselves when we have had those 2.

only on this forum and by chelsea fans can u expect hazard to be compared with CR. there is a gap of light years between those 2 at the moment.

this is a MUST-WIN. arsenal (bloody fucking lucky cunts) will drop points (god-willing and hopefully) and we cant afford not to catch up a little. i dont see any reason why not to play the same or a similar team as against schalke. cech azpi GC JT bert mikel rambo willian oscar schurrle etoo wba are no pushovers and they have already got a BIG scalp in united and taken 2 points off arsenal. specially while attacking we need to take care sessegnon. as i said before, dont see a reason why JOSE should alter the winning team much.
