mata does track back and help defences but he is still a liability while defending. its not something that comes naturally to him. oscar on the other hand is great at hustling. people who are condemning oscar and saying he has had "poor games" should probably watch chelsea more often. pressing the opposition mid and forcing them to go wide is a MAJOR part of our game when we dont have the ball. and it is for almost 50% of the game that we dont have the ball. can mata do that? i dont think so. atleast on the level of oscar. oscar is extremely pivotal for the way we have set up to play.

agree with everything except for the "detestable part". stoke are so hopelessly void of any true quality in their team and squad that it is shocking!!! they make that up with a lot of fight, body on the line and old-school stuff which makes them a little like-able. i just hope they dont get relegated.

stokr have changed a bit. with players like arnautovic, adam, nzonzi they now "try" to play football but more often than not fail. defensively they have lost huth and begovic which is costing them dearly. i dont think mata will struggle against them

i would expect a good win for us. really doubt if stoke would be up for it and even play their best team since they are now just 3 points off the drop zone. really expect some changes for this one. a start for matic should be a first to start with.with torres injured and etoo striking "gold", i am a bit confused if he deserves a rest or should be continued to be played. with us being hopelessly short of defenders , i expect atleast one of kalas/ake to get a look in. i hope iva plays this one so that azpi and cole get starts for the PL game (with just 3 full backs, i think jose will go for continous rotation) schwarzer iva kalas/ake DL cole matic mikel/lamps hazard mata schurrle etoo

So we were supposed to be worried of these guys??? Seriously!!! We dint even have to get our A game or rather B game for these guys. United's tactics of go all out was childish and showed exactly how out of depth moyes is. We simply had to soak in the prodding and probing they were doing and simply ravaged them on the counters. Hernandez as usual caused us plenty of problems. But a good gane from us tactically. Great 3 points. Keep it up chelsea!!!! Cech - good stop at the start. Dint have much else to do but what the fuck was he doing at the back pass. 6/10. Iva - good headers in the box but except for that seemed so rusty. How did he let adnan pass it thru his legs. was really good. specially in the 2nd half when pool went 4-3-3 and suarez and sterling were playing very much as RW. did well to keep them quite but seemed very leggy at the end... probably that would be taken care of when he starts getting gametime.
