  1. i hope this one works out. his loans are just terrible. swansea, borough, watford. about 2 years of his development have been totally and absolutely wasted. he is still just 20, and has some time, but he needs to use these oppurtunities.
  2. oh no!!! how can he leave... he was supposed to be our back up for a LB/RB/CDM/CAM and god knows what!!!
  3. there is still HOPE. now, i just hope that soton play hardball and say no SHAW until summer and somehow pool get salah. and since we will be left with nothing to do with 37mil, we will simply call off the deal.
  4. huh??? seriously? lets see city's player and their no. of apperances in all competitions. player-appearances 1.richards-8 2.kompany-17 3.Pablo Zabaleta-274.Joleon Lescott-175.James Milner-306.Samir Nasri-287.Álvaro Negredo-338.Edin Džeko-279.Aleksandar Kolarov-2710.Javi García-2811.Jesús Navas-3212.Sergio Agüero-2313.Jack Rodwell-714.David Silva-2215.Gaël Clichy-2016.Fernandinho-2917.Martín Demichelis-1518.Matija Nastasić-1819.Stevan Jovetić-620.Dedryck Boyata-621.Yaya Touré-29 with that squad strength i can actually see why they are being tipped to do a domestic treble this season. oh well!!!
  5. the only consolation from this transfer would have been if we had actually taken united to the cleaners for this transfer. i mean this was the same team that paid 27mil for felliani and were willing to buy out herrera for 36mil. their desperation is a 100times more than what it was in the summer. they would not get a PL proven quality player like mata anywhere so why sell him at barely his market price. their season, infact their SEASONS to come depend on this window and the 16PL games left in the season so why not rip them off.
  6. please read what i write. QUALITY in depth. essien, kalas, ake - do not and will not make the cut under mourinho this season. they are simply there for filling up names. as of right now, we have 17 first team players for 10 outfield spots. thats hardly depth for me considering the big squads of TOP teams like bayern, city, RM, etc...
  7. that was my initial thought process too, but after hearing reports of salah joining us, i would guess that we would be wasting the money of second level players unfortunately. cant see us buying salah as well as buying out costa. plus there seems to be no rumors flying about this.
  8. we are actually going after salah. seems like mou's going to end the season with the current 3 strikers. so salah -12 mil, shaw - 25mil (???), matic -21 mil = 58mil mata - 37mil, kdb - 17mil =54mil. i would say that should be the least we can expect off this deal cos LB is an area of concern for us. with shaw, we can probably not afford to give AC a contract extension and simply keep shaw and ryan at the end of this season.
  9. first things first, mata is(was) required for exactly the reasons u stated above. they are miles ahead of us in terms of quality of strikers (negredo, aguero and dzeko) which is their strength. our strength at the start of the season was our AMs and our quality in depth which is now lost. absolutely finished. also i dont get this part,a 35 year old lamps is considered fit enough to play a high-pressing 4-2-3-1 system? how? anyways considering willian goes central, these are the problems we and salah on the right, i will face a tough time breaking down defences. people here are "REJOICING" that chelsea is getting 37mil pounds out of the mata deal, but if i say that getting salah for 10-15mil is stupid cos we have marin/moses, then i am told to not worry since chelsea is not spending my money. seems very fair to me!!!!! anyways, i dont care what moses has done in pool. he played for chelsea last season and was exactly like u would expect a squad player to be. he did his job and that is what is expected of the 5th choice AM. he played a big role in our FA cup and EL campaign. i doubt if moses "asked" to be sent to pool. we bought willian despite having 6 AMs and probably shipped him off.
  10. right now, they are not fighting for the title. probably buying some1 like cabaye and getting a trio of WC players like rvp, rooney and messi would be good enough to get them a top 4 which just last sunday seemed like would be impossible for united. i dont know what moyes does to them in the summer, but this mata deal might be the perfect catalyst for them to get their season on track.
  11. last season they were the finalists of copa del ray, gathered a MASSIVE 85 points in the league but still lost the league to barca, and were the semi-finalists of CL. u would hardly call it a "poor season" but thats the expectations that come with RM. also it was a team which was in dispute with its manager who had totally lost the dressing room. there seemed no cohesion in the team. but seems perfectly fair to deny CR the ballon d'or cos of shitty defensive performances by pepe and ramos against BVB to let in 4 goals.
  12. apparently he is the "egyptian messi". we already have the "german messi" in marin the "french messi" in kakuta my guess is that we are collecting the whole set except for the original, obviously (who needs him when u get the whole set)
  13. oh so me explaining it to another person that mata created more chances than oscar despite playing half the minutes is "twisting" words, especially when it was said that mata was given a very fair oppurtunity this season and he simply dint produce. ya seems fair!!!
  14. ------------rvp------------ ---janujaz--rooney---mata-- -----carrick---X----------- ---LB---vidic---jones---rafael--- ---------de gea--------- dont see a reason why they cant "out score" teams. but anyways... fuck those cunts... got what they deserved today...
  15. take that united. fuck u!!! fuck u!!! fuck u!!!
  16. what i dont get is, fans always want the player to be a loyal servant to the club. to always give his 100% and fight for the club, but what does the club have no responsibilty towards the player? can the club literally treat players like property owned? the way we have treated mata is just disgusting.
  17. we chelsea fans make him out to be as good as he is. no one here is debating the worth of playing oscar or mata as the no.10 in JOSE'S system. like u said, he is GREAT going forward. that's a FACT.
  18. HAHAHAHAH... but that is just too much money for a keeper. 5mil would do.
  19. moses? piazon? and dont forget, we already have recalled GAEL KAKUTA!!!!
  20. but thats not what u said. u brought up stats for the season, mata's defensive liability, his "spectatorness" in the CL final and finally as the worst low-blow his missing a penalty in the CL final(like that has never happened to any1 before). big difference dude, big difference.
  21. so did JT in moscow.... FUCKING SELL HIM.
  22. well if the "most expensive" team assembled is done by using the logic of sell ozil and buy bale inspite of having 2 world class wingers in CR and di maria but just a 21 year old kid as a CAM (who by the way is sitting on the bench now), then u can hardly expect them to win something.
  23. more like the person who gave an assist to our goal in the same final.
  24. the argument of the guy i posted was this. at this moment i am an emotional mess and i am not going to read thru this essay. Check yourself. He played 12 games. Not a lot I admit but he didnt show enough in those 12 games. hence the comparision of their chances created. also at this moment i am an emotional mess and i am not going to read thru this essay.
