the discussion i had with rmpr during the draws was not only about RM's CL prowess but in how they are in general. a team can go on a good run in a knockout competition. things can go in their favor. the smallest of things which can be of the greatest importance. ATM had one hand on the cup and that equaliser knocked the bloody stuffing out of them. after that there was only one winner. u could see their players already crying in the dug out and on the field, it seemed their spirit and resilience was shattered. if this goal had come in the 60th minute, the outcome of the match would have been very different. against BVB. RM were not at all good. they got a 3-0 win at bernabaeu which could so easily have been 3-2/3-3 and dont even get me started on the match in bvb. i am not saying RM dint deserve to win. they won cos they were the best out of the rest. does not mean it changes anything i said about them. this year they were riding on the LA DECIMA wave. u could see in the players that they really really really wanted to win it and get this monkey off their backs. which was very similar to our situation.

the defence literally invited marcelo until the top of the box. asking him to shoot which he did well. powerful shot, low and going towards the corner. if GC had done what miranda had done last night, people would have ripped him apart. but since doubting TC seems to be the more controversial thing (since DL has been sold and not much controversy can be created regarding our CBs), the member now ends up saying rubbish things like HOWLER for the 3rd goal. do they even know what howler means. i can understand someone saying "it was stoppable" but LOL at howler.

costa has an attitude problem??? being a hard competitor on the pitch and being in the face of the defenders is different from being balotelli. and the fact that u r comparing his cuntishness on the field to balotelli's massive ego and attitude just shows and how much u know when u compare the fighting spirat of a player to balotelli's nothingness inside the head. how much do u think balo will come for? 30mil? at least. well same as costa. dont see the gamble. what effect would a player like balo have on someone like lukaku when he shoots him with an air gun? or when lukaku sees him flunk training and still start every match. also, this is balotelli's injury history. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mario-balotelli/verletzungen/spieler/45146 which is actually much longer than costa's injury history http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-costa/verletzungen/spieler/44779. also the fact that u want balo over costa and somehow think balo is lesser of a gamble is

What???Cavani- 70mil. Ibra - 32 year old, goes lost in all big games and he is INJURED TOO. Benzema- Balotelli- now u r just being stupid. Where do I start? Attitide problem, iq problem, is he a player that would have a good effect on a young squad. I mean u think costa is a "huge gamble" but name balotelli before him. That's just LOL.

RM 2-2 valencia, valladolid 1-1 RM celta vigo 2-0 RM 7 points dropped out of a possible 9 while knowing the fact that barca and/or ATM would drop points on the last day. also, they finished just 3 points off ATM, but u r definitely RIGHT in saying that they had nothing to play for. they won the CL and congrats to them for that.but also remember we won the CL in probably the worst moment in the roman era. a lot goes down to luck, like today, like the bvb match, like the draws.

dint hear a peep out of you for 3 weeks when RM choked their way in la liga and now u come out to gloat. arsenal won a trophy too, means they are not chokers??
-
well played ATM. brilliant fight. and to achieve what they already have is immense. congratulations to RM. maria and modric. the 2 players that have been their heart and soul.

Learn to read. Go back to my discussion with "korea" and read what I wrote. I said "this year". Atleast know what you are debating on rather than stupidly blurting out stuff. Also, this oscar is not mature enough is another bullshit argumwnt. He is the no.1 no.10 of one of the best clubs in the world and the best national team in the world. By 2 managers who are the best in the world. I would rather take their opinion over urs.
-
Line up?
-
precisely. he has not played CM as much as i know.atleast have not seen him play there this season. i would rather have rakitic.
-
he plays for chelsea football club. he gets paid to play for us. the minimum a fan expects from these players is 100% effort and total fight to see the team succeed. did oscar do that? our manager sold our 2 times POTY and made him our undisputed no.1 no.10. and he re-paid the manager and the fans' faith by such half-arsed performances. its "common sense" that the player who is tipped to be our center of our core in the future atleast gives a damn about the club. so far i have seen nothing from oscar which tells me that he gives a flying fuck. the last WC was in 2010, we won the league with JT, lamps as our core. before that, it was in 2006, we won the PL with JT and lamps as our core. having a WC in your home country should be such an issue that u stop giving your 100% and put in average performances for the club. that is the weakest argument i have heard.
-
brilliant. exactly what i wanted to hear. we should buy more players who "hold off" and put personal glories ahead of the clubs. i mean legends like JT and lamps and cech are born out of this stuff. the lengths people go to defend their favourite players is quite amusing!!!!
-
come on ATM. fuck these a-holes.
-
i dint bring the ATM game as an example of DL's poor performance. infact he was decent on the night. i brought it up to show EH17's "minute" mistake and how our tactics dont have much margin of error.
-
true fan!!!!! standing ovation for this guy. mourinho has a TERRIBLE record in the transfer market. he sold zlatan and bought etoo and bloody won the treble with inter milan. he bought the likes of cech, DD, essien, paulo etc etc who were the core of our team, all pathetic buys, right? ozil and maria in RM, pathetic!!! all terrible. sack him. fire him. crucify him!!!!
-
precisely. we dont need him desperately. we have options like moreno, RR, luis or even coentrao. he is a chelsea fan, he should force the move. 20mil (at max) bid from us is still over-priced but should satisfy soton too.
-
cant wait for him to be in the ex-blues section. please god please!!!!!!!!!
-
a tottenham high line, a chelsea low line or a barca no line, now it simply does not matter. the only person whose opinion mattered was jose and he thinks luiz is not the guy for us. DL is a GREAT FOOTBALLER (great defender?, i am still not sure) but as a CHELSEA defender, he barely could be counted as GOOD. and that is the most important thing. he simply was not the defender for us. his "minute" errors are the things that our system does not allow. we play a very rigid and organized way with very little margin for error (look at the ATM 2nd leg, one "minute" mistake from EH17 had a catastrophic effect). hence, makes perfect sense to let go off a defender who simply did not play that way.
-
OTT!!!!! bertrand is worth at least 5mil as he is a very decent player. soton would be perfect for him, a mid/higher mid table team. plus being english adds a few more. bertrand and 20mil is WAY OTT!!!
-
55mil? that a MAJOR understatement. i thought PSG themselves bought him for 60mil. with us ripping them off for luiz, they will atleast try to get us back a little. 65mil, will be minimum.
-
schurrle had a good season considering it was his first. willian was our spine and probably the player jose thought oscar would be for him plus the finishing in the last third which willian really lacks. oscar and hazard were supposed to be the core this season. they were supposed to be the players who were going to take the team to its heights. hazard did his job, oscar dint. not even close. and what rubbish pivot are u talking about? oscar was infact "good" when we had a rubbinsh pivot. it was after matic came in and improved us infinitely, did oscar become poor. the conditions were their for oscar to shoulder the team. instead he himself crumbled. also, if u cant bare to handle the truth then close your eyes, but dont tell me shut up.
-
show us what u got tank.
-
no way is he staying now!!!! for once we are in a condition where we can take a "hit" FFP-wise by selling him. even if we get 10mil for him in transfer to some god-forsaken team, we would be losing 8mil (FFP-wise) these will be the total amount on the books (FFP-wise) torres= 8mil ba = 2mil (amortized fee) + 5mil (wages) lukaku = 4mil (fee) + 3mil (wages) costa = 6mil (fee) + 6mil (wages) a total of 34mil for 3 strikers. if we sell ba for 5mil, and keep torres, this is what would go in our books ba = 0mil torres = 9mil (fee) + 10mil (wages) lukaku = 4+3 costa = 6+6 a total of 38mil for 3 strikers. which means, even if we sell torres for 6mil, he would be profitable to us. jose and our board cant posibbly have missed this.
