Costa this season 4 goals. One against tel aviv - championship level, one against wba - 12th currently, one against villa - dead bottom, one against Norwich - 16th. Kane this season 1 goal against anderlecht who are a much better team than tel aviv. 8 pl goals- One against man city- 3rd, one against arsenal - 4th, 2 against west ham - 6th, 3 against Bournemouth - 18th, 1 against villa - 20th. Not at all tough to say who has been way way better. Ps - hazard has been on a 20 game goalless streak. 12 games mean nothing when your all round game is good and you provide plenty for the team unlike someone like costa.

Don't think any sane minded person can argue with this. A "good striker" but that's it. He has his abilities but some of his deficiencies like hold up play, link up play, aerial play make him notches below being a top striker. We need a player who can push costa to concentrate on scoring again. Someone like lacazatte.

Getting quality options without European football is going to be very difficult. And let's be honest, we are not man united who have that lure and aura. This was the only reason I want is to splash the cash in January instead of summer. Moving a left mid to left back is acceptable, not a winger, eg - zhirkov. Also, I don't think it's acceptable to judge his individual performance against pool and Everton cause well, messi would have found it hard to make an impact considering how poor, gutless and absolutely uninterested we looked in both those games.Also, why are we approaching things in a round about way. Play players in their natural positions and develop other aspects of their game to make them better overall players. Don't play attackers as defenders and then develop their defensive side of the game. Hence I said, we will be ruining him specially since he looks like he has some good techniqur. Just buy Ricardo Rodriguez and play him as lb, azpi as rb and keep baba as backup.

We had similar amounts of attempts against stoke. We were pretty much in control of everything before arnautovic scored. Our conversion rate is our main problem. Our striker loves to be anywhere but in the box trying to score a goal, that is one of our problems. Ivanovix was more than a little shaky. Kenedy should not even be a viable option for spurs game. Against palace he was asleep for the 2nd goal. Can't blame a 19 year old forward though. Against Everton and liverpool, name one player who even looked like they wanted to be on the pitch. I honestly can't even see the benefit of playing a 19 year old winger as a full back. We are Chelsea. Not some pub team.
