but i feel we just need a modric type player more . i mean i don't claim to watch him week in week out but from what ive heard he is exciting but can be a little clumsy on occasions , and we need somebody who can control the tempo in midfield and create chances . And as for reviving Tottenham i think modric is worth more to them than the money that is in question and they aren't really top rivals in terms of challenging for trophy's in my opinion it will take much more than 35 odd million to get them in to contention for the championship .

Really another defensive centre midfielder ? we already have Mikel and Ramires who can hold and this will most likely stick josh even further down the pecking order . Yet another midfielder , but one who appears to offer neither pace or creativity the two things we are missing most in the area . i would have preferred scott to this guy in all honesty but we just don't need any more defensive leaning midfielders . a very underwhelming start to avb's coaching Career in Chelsea in my opinion .

half of the people abusing him are supporting a team which to them is foreign ( Chelsea ) and yet they don't see the irony in being anti Semitic or giving abuse to somebody because of which country they come from . i obviously hope they would not receive such but i wonder if they would be shocked if they got xenophobic abuse if they ever made the trip to England to watch Chelsea .
