  1. I agree. As Shearer said yesterday on BBC, there will be no shortage of people wanting the job. And if, as the media are reporting, Roman still believes in 'the project', there will be funds available for new players.
  2. Personally I thought that was what AVB was here to do. I think the media have pretty much publicised our shortlist for the past week. Preference is to Mourinho or Guardiola. Nobody knows if they're attainable though. Obviously the club wants either of these two or else Benitez would've been put in place as manager last night.
  3. I, for one, won't be judging his management abilities in these games. There's nothing much he can do to change things.
  4. I think you're right, unfortunately. I'd vote for Guardiola over Mourinho every day of the week, but frankly, it's never gonna happen.
  5. I can't see Mourinho becoming manager and allowing Lampard/Drogba/The old guard to leave the club. They'll want to play for him, problem is that some of them simply aren't capable of what they once were.
  6. Odds on us releasing the new home strip tomorrow, to get everyone excited about next year?
  7. Why even bother with the thread haha. We know we'll go running back to Jose with our tail between our legs begging for him to save us. The way this club is run is a joke.
  8. We'll go running back to Mourinho because we're so fucking predictable. So pissed off. Just to add: I love this club, I despise some of the people associated with it
  9. Unless there is an official announcement from an official source, can we all not post any rumours as to whether AVB has been sacked or not whatsoever?
  10. I genuinely feel sorry for AVB, and that's not a position you want to be in with your manager.
  11. I despair. To be fair to WBA, they deserve that.
  12. Christ. Physically we've been dominated in the midfield. 0-0 is pretty good going judging by how we've defended at times.
  13. FFP rules do not consider 'tangible fixed assets' (such as the building of a new stadium) as part of a club's expenditure, therefore FFP isn't relevant when building a new stadium. Matchday revenue on the other hand is counted towards a club's income. Therefore the potential building of a new stadium is win/win for Chelsea when you talk about the FFP rules.
  14. Don't want to think about it too much (A lot of it will be auctioned off though i'd imagine).
  15. But they are basically saying there are no other options other than to move, which (I assume) they are not allowed to say outright as they have to have an agreement with the CPO. Good to see the club releasing their information so thoroughly.
  16. Seriously boys, start putting the chances away.
  17. Just needs his sharpness back, it'll only come with playing games.
  18. DROGBAAAAA How many corners did it take until we got one right?
