Possible that Anderlecht wouldn't let Lukaku leave for any less, other teams were after him & we may of finally learnt from past mistakes of not buying players before another team snatches them then we end up buying them for over the odds when they are past it. We will struggle to keep Romeu if he continues to show his worth because of the buy back clause Barca have.

Obviously it was sarcasm. This is a great point tbh. He couldn't do a worse job than Torres right now. It would be a risk playing him first team, but like most Chelsea fans I want to see why we paid so much for him.. I'm sure he will get his chance soon. I'd like to see 4-4-2, with Lukaku being an occasional striker alongside Sturridge.

Hiddick? He was only ever a temp manager & he made that clear. How we would of loved him to stay but he stuck to his word. We could be in a much different position now. But then we would never of had that wonderful season with King Carlo.

Sheva tried a lot more than Torres is. Seems that Torres has just given up hope all together. It's still nice to think that one of the greatest strikers in the world played and scored in a Chelsea shirt

Yes I mean the majority of the team needs replacing there is a lot of deadwood in the squad. Not enough players were bought in the summer that could make an instant impact. For reasons only AVB & Roman know. But the fans want it both ways, we need a long term manager we now have one with AVB & if he is to be our long term manager then we need to be patient. If he can make the changes needed in the summer or january then we need to just ride this season out. Yeah I was thinking the same tbh...

Bringing in Hiddink is NOT the answer. AVB has been hired for the long run, did you genuinely think we would win the league this season? We won't win the CL & very much doubt we'll win the FA cup but we won't lose out on CL qualification this year that I'm certain of. Big changes will be made in the summer AVB is dealing with an ageing team that were mostly here in Jose's reign. The sooner these players move on the better & AVB can create his own team.

His wife found his body, they had not argued nor was he depressed which makes the drastic decision of him to take his own life even more baffling. There has to be something much more behind this. I hope his wife & kids find out & they are not left wondering for the rest of their lives.

Carlo had the same problems last season, some of the players we have playing for us just aren't interested anymore. The players are more to blame than AVB, although AVB has to take some of the blame with some dodgy tactics and playing players out of position.

Oh dear god honestly how many of you genuinely believed we would win the league this season or any silverware? Instant success is just expected by a lot of chelsea fans these days. Ridiculous. Did you see how we played last season with an ageing team? The majority of our players were bought by Jose or around in Jose's reign. They are past it and need to be replaced. That can't be done in one summer. This season is not about winning silverware its about creating a new team & some big changes should be made next summer as not enough were made in the summer. If you can't handle a couple of seasons without silverware you need to develop some patience & real support. Football is not always rosé.

Sad but true. Our best striker is Sturridge but he's being wasted on the wing. It's the end of the line for drogba & torres has had enough time he will never settle here

We need to stop playing 4-4-3 we simply don't have the players for it. Sturridge is NOT a winger. Lukaku is NOT a winger why play him there. Get Mata behind 2 strikers creating for the team.
