  1. Haha, didn't mean anything bad, just a joke. Sorry if I did offend you tho! For sure, Brazil will get a lot out of the World Cup. I have always wanted to ask you this: I've seen documentaries that feature favelas and it criminality - is its really that big of a problem in Brazil?
  2. Unless cocaine lords want to sign a sponsorship deal with Chelsea, financially it makes more sense to go to Asia - blooming businesses and a big audience.
  3. I'm a bit long wired, why the thanks? Was I too much of a cpt Obvious?
  4. Pre-season in Asia means getting up early in the morning to watch the games. USA wasn't much more convenient - had to get up 5AM for the game against Seattle Sounders for example.
  5. That's the thing that annoys me also. When a player is good at tricks and has nifty footwork, he is a good player. Rarely do people notice the hard work of players, who do all the dirty work on the field.
  6. Same for me, it clearly says Muzchap. All in all, a good comment, no wonder it was published.
  7. To be fair, when he is compared to Messi and Ronaldo, you'd expect him to get some stick for not playing in one of the top4 leagues. After all, Messi and Ronaldo made debuts for Barcelona and Manchester United respectively at ages of 17 and 18.
  8. No need to get personal... Doubting someones knowledge and support for a team is just childish in an argument. Being brazilian won't make one a football expert like being asian won't make you smart. Talking about stereotypes.
  9. Think your post is great, just wanted to point out that he played good against Scotland a year or two ago. His feet were so fast I couldn't even see them. Spanish league would be ideal for him. He is a bit too fragile to start picking fights with EPL defenders with his fancy footwork.
  10. I consider myself an avid football fan and try to keep myself up-to-date. Hazard was already promoted for 1-2 years before he came to England as Belgium's next superstar but I had never even heard of Oscar before he joined us. Don't take this too personally, we all know Neymar is good but he has to make right choices in life to become the best. One of the above posters hit the nail on the head when he said that Neymar is too comfortable in Brazil. He must ask himself if he wants to rake more money or become a proven footballer on a bigger stage.
  11. A one club man, rare these days in the top leagues. Hopefully he will be somehow involved in football to pass on his knowledge to kids. Good luck!
  12. Have a Have a great holiday, Kerry!
  13. Hey Stingray, found a pic of you on a Friday night out. Ladies are all over you!
  14. No need to take my post word for word. You get the idea of my post and there's no need to convince me even more pro-Oscar. Can't see why did you jump down my throat?
  15. A bit unfair imo, he is very young, played out of position due to our situation. He is definitely capable of magic and I'm sure there's lots still to come from him.
  16. Noones disputing that he should get a contract, it's just that if he wants it under the same terms as previous contracts it wouldn't be justified to the club financially. I read also that Abramovich is getting rid of the player power in the dressing room, something we need to do if we want a young, hungry coach in who might not have the respect of the dressing room instantly. (like it happened during AVB reign, players rebelled)
  17. Endal läks 7-8h komisjonis Njah.. oli küll nii ,et kõik istuvad nagu süüpingis reas ja ootavad oma korda, väga kaootiline. Ei tahtnud halvustada ega solvata, suur mees, otsusta ise. Edu! Sorry for using Estonian, feels weird replying to fellow estonian in English
  18. Piir on nüüd 30. Kui tahad midagi teada ajateenistusest vms, siis küsi julgelt. I've gone through the military service in one of the strictest infantry corps in Estonia, what we were told form day 1 is that our battalion might lack the living-standards so to say but it will make up for it with discipline. I didn't take their word for it but they were right. When we met other soldiers from different battalions, they were far less disciplined, had fewer rules to follow and seemed like tourists to us, didn't know how to properly handle a weapon etc. You can say that it will take a year out of your life, which it will, but for me it was question of honor and a bit of patriotism. I can understand people, who have families to feed, an injury preventing them from enlisting, a lucrative job ( one way to another you will get fired, though it's illegal to do that), because the compensation you get for serving in the army is very small. It's really difficult for me to listen how some people unfairly slate this without even being in there. It will be mentally and physically hard but it has a lot to offer. You'll meet new people, make good friends. You'll get to experience life you otherwise wont. When else will you spend the night under the sky while it's -30 degrees and you only have your backpack and sleeping-bag with you? A lot of cool things happen there that you can laugh about later in your life and talk to others. Even if you dont know the person, men,who have served their time, have always something to talk about and relate. For example, during one of the last training camps, we had to put up a patrol like always. When it was my turn, it was already very dark outside and we were in the woods. 10 min before though, our squad leader had given us a warning that a mother bear and its cubs have been sighted near by our patrol way. So it was a very nerv-wrecking experience, because had we met them, we didnt have anything else to defend ourselves except an assault rifle with fake bullets that only make a loud noise. Of course, the stories don't only evolve around wild animals, much more to it. Looking back, I dont think I lost a year in my life. I gained a lot and am proud that I did this. Regarding universities etc - if you're determined and not lazy, serving in the army won't affect you. I had to re-do my biology exam in order to get into medical faculty. I had a fixed mind about what I want to achieve and how to do it.
  19. Many great games today. Starting from of course Scotland vs Estonia ; Spain vs Uruguay ; England vs Brazil ; Holland vs Italy ; France vs Germany ; Sweden vs Argentina.
  20. Chelsea's statement regarding Cech and his injury http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3064994/title/cech-out-of-czech-match
  21. I haven't read a lot of previous posts, but can it be somehow be connected to the CL group stage/knock-out drawings? Every year you get intriguing pairs that come off as not so coincidental. Take for example Real Madrid - Manu (connection through Ronaldo) ; Inter-Chelsea (when Mourinho was in charge) and there are tons more. Would be logical why'd they do this - the more views they get, the more money is being accumulated. Has anyone thought about this?
