  1. Navas suffers from chronic homesickness and therefore will not move from Sevilla.
  2. I think that this could come across the wrong way but I doubt that the minutes silence on Sunday will be anywhere near as well respected on Saturday when Liverpool are playing. This is because unlike for Liverpool it will not be seen as something as personal to the club and fans of Chelsea and Spurs. Whilst I appreciate that Hillsborough and its victims should always be remembered is it practical to have all clubs, most of whom do not have a strong connection with the incident to respect it in such a thorough way that Liverpool do?
  3. It would be better IMO if we had a 'true' transition season where Lukaku, McEachran, Bertrand etc. all get regular starts in the league. It will be to our benefit in the future if we have a good young core of players playing together from a young age. Look what Barcelona do with their young players- they take a gamble and give the likes of Tello and Cuenca. If they are playing for their club from as young an age as possible they will learn more. Having said that I think we undoubtedly need a winger who can actually cross. Jordi Alba would be a possibility although if we really want proven quality I would try to get Di Maria. A skilful players who will run at people without falling over his own feet like Kalou, very capable of using both feet, can cross and can finish. What I find most frustrating is that the likes of Real Madrid, Man U etc. are able to go out and find quality like Di Maria, Nani, Higuain from smaller clubs yet our board and scouting network is absolutely hopeless and would rather go and sign Deco and Kalou. We have made very few true quality signings in the last 5 years. Ivanovic has probably been our best signing since 2007. Does our board genuinely think it would not be a good idea to set up a large scouting system and youth academy in a talent hotspot like South America like what Porto and Benfica do? Look at the quality which Porto have got cheaply through their South American scouting. We are lagging way behind these clubs in terms of our scouting.
  4. To be honest without that red circle I would never have noticed a difference between the two badges
  5. The marking for their goal was a disgrace. Lampard, Bertrand and Ramires all on the front post with only Bertrand doing what he was supposed to be doing- being on the front post. The other two just stood aimlessly watching as the ball went straight over their head
  6. Easy trip for you then! I know a few people who liver over that way
  7. I sing but I don't start off chants. I never leave early because I don't live too far away from the ground so don't have to worry about the last train or things like that and because the time I do leave early will be the time that I miss something. I also stay if we are losing heavily because it is when we tend to have a better atmosphere Favourite chants anyone? Can't beat 10 men went to mow IMO
  8. Shed Upper seems to be getting better as well during the time when MHL was getting quieter. I sit in Shed Upper and for the amount of people sitting here it is definitely louder than MHL per person to amount of noise made
  9. meh just like a few people in Cornwall in South West England. A few of them speak a slightly different language (about 1 in 10 people in Catalonia speak Catalan) and they think they are a separate country
  10. They currently have as many members on their entire site as we do looking at this topic
  11. Its a cartoon. Its clearly a joke. They are overreacting horribly. And look at them now threatening to report to the hosting company what is wrong with them!? Its clearly a joke. I don't hate Barcelona as a club it is just their arrogant, over-sensitive players and fans which irritate me. I am sure there are some or many which are perfectly reasonable but the vast majority that I have come across just appear so up their own arses that it is hard to take them seriously.
  12. I hope we lose the first leg and win the second. Winning in their shithole would make it even sweeter. Also, if we lose the first leg controversially then yet more people will turn on the biggest scandal in football and we will have everyone except the Barca gloryhunters cheering us on. Busquets needs a slap
  13. http://www.barcaforum.com/member.php/5665-gingerless This guy is the most bitter of the lot, saying how Di Matteo is just a rubbish version of Guardiola etc. The arrogance of Barcelona fans never ceases to amaze. I will be shouting rude things at the 'Catalans' in Spanish during the match next week
  14. now trolling under the name 'NOUCAAAAAAAMP'
  15. anyone want to go and troll it with me?
  16. Uncovered seat + pissing it down on a windy night= proper football match
