They are missing 4 starting players. Kompany, Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Gundogan. Their football just looks way more fluid whereas ours is just as disjointed as last season because we haven't really changed anything at all apart from the defense.

After going 1 up our play became really lethargic. We didn't fight hard at all. Frantic scurrying in the last 10 mins to save two points isnt really fighting hard. Any professional player with dignity would do that.

He keeps talking about incorporating players into his style of football but what does he really mean ? All i really see is a defensive approach. Two games we've nicked in the dying minutes and finally we lost points today against a really poor side. He hasn't binned any of our underperformers from last season. Every new manager must take a year to assess the garbage in our squad and since we change managers every year they'll basically be with us forever. As for Conte what is really special about him? I don't see it so far. Mourinho wouldve had the exact same lineup that he's been playing so what was the point of bringing him in ? The football hasn't really changed and the youth players can't even make the squad.

Ivanovic thinks he's the next Zidane and is always caught really high up the pitch. This has been happening too long and no one has really corrected it. It would be understandable if he had some attacking ability but he's terrible going forward.

Team has become a training club to help mediocre players improve. It won't happen. Matic was even worse though. An absolute waste of a starting player.

Replace him with anyone else with a pulse and his absence wouldn't be noticed.

It's very upsetting how he isn't getting any playing time at all after how good he was in preseason. We've only played poor teams as well. Conte seems like another Mourinho as far as playing youth goes.

Unbelievable really. I saw this thread had the latest post on the current squad subsection and I thought to myself he surely hasn't scored again but he has. We should give him playing time next season.

At least we won't be having four United defenders in the Premier League best 11's for a while. United fans are so delusional.
