i think he's gonna be a great player for us. Just a hunch. As for robbery, you won't ever find a starting caliber player for less than this price any more. It's actually a good deal.

I hope it doesn't happen. He's not a great defender and he's already 29. Just look at the penalty he gave away against Monaco a few days back. He's a liability in defense.

I'm not upset at all. Compared to Ivanovic he is surely the second coming of Maldini.

I don't think we're going to get a world beater at this stage in the window.. These are the players we're getting linked to at this point. Maybe it's just best to stand pat at this point and hope for something in January.

Most people on the Forza Inter forums seem to be happy to see him go.

Let's wait until we play some of the better teams in the league. Burnley, Watford and West Ham are all poor teams imo. Matic, Ivanovic and Oscar will all struggle against United/City/Arsenal etc.

Actually I think we already have a good window tbh. Conte himself has been an amazing addition and Kante looks like he'll be the best midfielder in the league. Bats is a great addition and hopefully we'll swtich to two strikers in the future. If we sign a CB and a LB the window will go from good to amazing. Add another midfielder to replace Matic/Oscar and we'll have one of the best squads in Europe imo.

Milan lost 4-2 today against Napoli. Romagnoli gave away the penalty for the 4th goal and was lucky to not have been sent off. Milan finished with 9 men.

Do you think Conte would have him out ? We have been linked with other midfielders this summer and I wonder who Conte wants out from our current starters. Is it Matic or Oscar ? Or maybe both. I think the squad needs a very good box to box midfielder with strong defense and good passing and then maybe we can play both Michy and Costa as starters. If we then add a CB and a LB then we would have a really world class squad with the ability to compete with the best in Europe. I hope that maybe by the end of this window we'll get one more player, and then next window we'll the other two.

We are having to pay a 15m pound premium just for english clubs from all these italian sides. Maybe they should start looking at other leagues. It's a bad position to be in. Either we'll have to overspend or we will get a stop gap player who won't be in the manager's long term plans.

Depressing stuf tbh. At least he has some athletic ability. Maybe Conte can make him a better player.

Hopefully in January a lot of these teams will be more willing to sell when they are floundering in their domestic leagues or are knocked out in the early rounds of the champions league.

Hard to get excited for Maksimovic after we've been rejected by all our first choice targets.

The truth is that 4 or 5 players in our starting lineup right now aren't even top 4 level any more. Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic, Matic are all very poor and have been poor for some time now. The calm on here is amusing given the amount of players needed and the club's ineptness in procuring them at a time when our rivals have strengthened so heavily.
