Cole is class on his day. He was pretty poor for most of the season, and has been very good in the last few CL games. For obvious reasons.

Cole is 31, we should replace him sooner rather than later.

Really isn't that hard to see. Cole wasn't very good until the big games at the end of the season came around and now his price is driven up. With FFP and all, cash in on him and promote Bertrand. If not this summer, next.

Can't compare the two, RDM has managed a side that played a game every three days. He gambled with the team selection a lot (for obvious reasons) and sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't. I don't think we can accurately use this season's league record for anything.
