BlueJewel reacted to YouNameIt in 🏴 Daniel Sturridge
That makes absolutley zero sense. If he is scoring for "an average Liverpool side", wouldnt he score more for us? Also, Liverpool arent that average, not the way they've started this season. They just beat Man u, and convincingly.
And calling Danny average is just being blind and ignorant.

BlueJewel reacted to manpe in The Mourinho Thread
Who exactly were those 'superstars' he signed?
2004/05: Drogba, Kezman, Ferreira, Carvalho, Tiago, Robben, Nuno Morais (Can't see any superstar names there, a few of them became later in their careers)
2005/06: Essien, SWP, Lassana Diarra, Del Horno, Jarosik (Again, no superstars, Essien arguably became one later in his career)
2006/07: Ballack, Shevchenko, Obi Mikel, Kalou, Boulahrouz, Ashley Cole (Now this is where some serious superstars joined, namely Ballack and Sheva and maybe even Cole could have been somewhat considered one at the time, but reportedly Jose didn't even want them and coincidentally this was the season when everything started going downhill, with superstar additions)
2007/08: Malouda, Tal Ben Haim, Claudio Pizarro (Again, who was a renowned name here? Perhaps only Malouda, but he was far from being a superstar or even world class)
The misconception that Mourinho only signed the biggest names with the reformation transfer budget is just that, a misconception. During the third season the board started capitalizing on newly found success and instantly dug their claws into available big name signings, namely Ballack and Sheva. They were the only genuine superstar names added to squad list during Jose's time and there is general agreement that they weren't even his signings. Some of the players (namely Drogba, Robben, Cole, Essien, Carvalho) became world class and famous under him, but when he signed them, they were basically nobodies.

BlueJewel got a reaction from manpe in The Mourinho Thread
Mourinho's Real Madrid has one of the youngest squads in la liga. Payers like Ozil, Khedira and Di Maria were all around Oscar and Hazard's age when Mourinho brought them to Real Madrid, he was playing them ahead of much more experienced and established players, like Kaka, Lassana Diarra etc. Many people are starting to notice Rafael Varane, Mourinho brought him in when he was just 18 to play for the first team and has started him in all the important matches Real Madrid has played this year ahead of Pepe and sometimes Ramos. In one clasico he started both Morata and Varane, their average age is just about 19!!!, it's a myth that Mourinho cannot work with young players, if you're good enough, you're old enough for him.

The club messed up with Daniel, I hope it doesn't happen to Lukaku. To be honest, I'd have preferred a strikeforce of Lukaku, Sturridge and Ba to Torres, Ba and Falcao. Big money strikers at Chelsea have more often than not failed to live up to their price tags.

He also was one of our top scorers last season from an unfavoured position out wide. All his goals was from the wing and now he is upfront for Liverpool, he is still showing he can score. How it itches me that Liverpool are going to have a prolific goalscorer for the next few seasons. ARGH!

I hope we don't mismanage Lukaku and turn this into another Sturridge saga.

BlueJewel got a reaction from Rmpr in Isco
Graham Hunter isn't an expert, he's just one of those journalist that can't stop riding Barcelona's d*ck. Isco is exactly what Chelsea doesn't need, another number 10. He's a brilliant player but how are we going to fit Mata, Oscar and Isco in the same starting 11, without playing one or two out of position. The solution would be playing them on the wings but that is just a pure waste of talent imo.

BlueJewel got a reaction from Blue Armour in 🏴 Daniel Sturridge
Sturridge was never trusted by Di Matteo, by the time RDM came to his senses it was over for both him and Sturridge, I remember the West Brom away game, where Torres was useless for 60 minutes, Sturridge was shifted to the centre and Torres was subbed, the dynamics of the game changed completely. He combined almost effortlessly with Mata and could have had a hattrick in 30 minutes had it not been for some great saves by Myhill and one or two bad misses.
Sturridge has so much to his game, his passing, movement and general abilities on the ball are far greater than any English forward of his age, he'll go on to have a very successful career, it's just a shame it wouldn't be at Chelsea.
Chelsea is just to hot for a young talent to develop, Sturridge was even booed by Chelsea fans at the Bridge, the only way the club can develop young talents in the current atmosphere would be to send them on loan at clubs where there's less pressure to succeed, and come back when they're ready to secure a first team position.

People calling Sturridge inconsistent on the wing, should rewatch Ba's second half of last season on the wing(when Cisse was signed and played centrally). Simply put some strikers need to be played as such and not be shunned on the wing if you want them to be effective.

EDIT: a 50m back-up striker who gets what, 170k a week? Mmmmm LOVELY INNIT
And you guys celebrate about the shitty 12m we got for Danny....hahaha

BlueJewel reacted to YouNameIt in 🏴 Daniel Sturridge
Fuck everyone here who used to say that Danny was overrated and whatnot. I have been a huge supporter of him and the fact that he didnt even GET AN HONEST CHANCE at Chelsea is what keeps pissing me off.
PLUS the fact that we got rid of a hungry striker and kept the useless blonde cunt.
And as if that wasnt enough, we sold Danny to Liverpool who have FUCKED US UP in numerous of ways.
Oh and btw, you guys can play the "his attitude" card, but to be honest I have not seen a single fact that even hints at that Danny would have a bad attitude. Some of you say he is selfish. Well, he is a striker. And its not wierd that the guy is hungry to score after not playing for many games, getting 15 minutes OF COURSE he wants to score. He has that hunger. As should a striker have. The reason some of you guys react on that is because you have obviousley been infected by Torres. I think some of you think that is how a striker should be, but with better finishing.

BlueJewel reacted to Las7 in 🏴 Daniel Sturridge
I don't get the criticism it was only after half time that Liverpool even looked like scoring - before Sturridge came on Liverpool didn't even have a shot on target; Suarez was ineffectual trying to lead the line. Sturridge came on scored a goal; setup three chances had 3 other shots for a guy who hasn't played in the EPL since West Brom game two months ago it was more than a decent 45 minutes from him.

BlueJewel got a reaction from Las7 in 🏴 Daniel Sturridge
He changed the game for Liverpool today, his movement was awesome, and linked up very well with Suarez, he'd have been grabbing all the headlines if he had score to make it two two but then again even the best miss chances, Van Persie missed an arguably better chance in the first half. What a strike force Chelsea would have had, Sturridge, Ba, Lukaku, I get sad everytime I think about it.

BlueJewel got a reaction from zolayes in 🇪🇸 Fernando Torres
Torres doesn't even put in an effort any more, he was just as bad as he is last season but back then you could see he really cared and wanted to pick up his form and the fans supported. Now he just doesn't care anymore because no matter how bad he plays he's going to be the first name on the team sheet. That is sickening, I think he's still young and should probably look to further his career outside Stamford bridge, maybe we should sell be back to Liverpool at a cut price, he's still adored there, and he can leave with the fat Messiah, the two still seam to have their hearts still set on Liverpool.
