  1. I wish he was better on the ball, thats his major downfall IMO.
  2. I agree, we were very sluggish today and our tactics were questionable especially when City were down to 10 men. I was disappointed with the performance but I have a feeling in a couple of months we'll look back and say it was a great result.
  3. Jose just put him on to hold the ball up and to draw fouls. If we were losing i have no doubts he would have brought on Remy.
  4. When i look at the likes of United, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton all losing to relegation candidates it does put things into perspective, drawing away from home against the champions isn't the worst result is it?
  5. I found it funny when Martin tyler and Gary Neville spoke about how Pellgrini this season has more 'attitude', it's true, already this season he's blamed refs countless of times, moaned about the CL seeding and is now slating Jose/Chelsea... so much for him being this calm, cool and collected character...
  6. At home against the 'big' sides i have no doubt we'll be more attacking, away a bit more cautious but i expect our counter attacks to improve.
  7. No point in even brining up Lampard, he's still a legend in my eyes and he did his job, OUR team should be the ones taking the flak for their diabolical defending for that goal. It's strange, a point is a good result, but i'm just so frustrated that we sat back and invited pressure against 10 men... we should have just kept possession and took the sting out of the game. Ah well, we're five points clear, in a few months or so we may look back and see this as a massive result.
  8. We have changed our style though, that doesn't mean we were going to go all out attack against the champions in their backyard, we would have got slaughtered. We had chances to counter today but everyone was so sloppy. Against 10 men i have no excuses, we should have been the team controlling the match.
  9. We were awful, lets be real here. Why the hell did we sit back and invite pressure when City were down to 10 men? we should have took control and dominated possession. I know why Drogba came on (to hold up the play and draw in fouls), but this isn't the same Didier, he's slow, rusty and not as strong as he once was. We're still five points clear so it's a decent result but that performance was dreadful.
  10. You can tell Stoke is the right level for Moses though, cant you?
  11. We may miss Luiz' strength and power in midfield but thats about it. We definitely wont miss his constant wayward passes, brainless fouls and hoofs up the pitch.
  12. Yes i think Pellegrini said he should be fit to face us on sunday.
  13. Have you seen Yaya this season? slow, lazy, defensively weak and not interested. I'm hoping that Toure shows up on Sunday.
  14. Thats why i'm baffled when people try and judge who's the best keeper based on clean sheets... so many different variables come in to play. IMO he's better than Cech mainly because he's more agile, faster and much better at dealing with crosses.
  15. I like their old stuff, they've changed way too much for my liking.
  16. I dont know, the long hair i guess.
  17. His favourite band are U2, i thought he would be more into heavy metal.
  18. Don't you lot think it's a bit risky to play Iva CB? i mean not only has it been a long since he's last played there but also when he did he was known to make a few mistakes. IMO we should just go for the safe JT and Cahill especially since we're going to be less attacking away from home.
  19. I bet you're loving Jose in that suit
  20. MrBlueGuy loves talking about parked buses. Relax, IMO we'll sit deeper and counter, its what most teams do away from home.
  21. You could tell the Hazard and Drogba partnership needs plenty of work
  22. Cesc was great today apart from getting intercepted for their goal, yes he should have done better but for the whole 90 minutes he was one of our better players, along with Hazard and Luis.
  23. We will still top this group with ease, everyone's on 1 point. I also like to think Mourinho will make sure everyone is ready for Sunday now especially after today.
  24. Roman Abramovich’s binge at the Bridge really is no laughing matter http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/football/article4206708.ece I honestly dont see the point of writing about this again, it's been done so many times over the past 10 years... all very tedious IMO. I also think it's very low to bring the Chelsea fans into it. The timing is also very funny... Gabriele Marcotti responded with a fantastic article, IMO he's one of the best Journalist out there.
