I'm sure there's a little (lot) nervousness in leaving Spain and coming to England after spending your entire life in one country. Expect one Mr. Torres to offer his translation services to Oriol while taking him under his wing, same as he did to Pacheco at Liverpool. One plus for Oriol is there's another Spaniard at the club. Oriol not playing today in the game against Australia. Spain has already qualified so 7 changes to the starting lineup. Spain 5 - Australia 1 29 minutes in the first half.
Sometimes I wonder about the translation from Spanish (or any language) to English. It kind of reminds me of a google translation where you get the gist of it but its still not quite right. Plus who was asking the questions and translating? Read that Oriol doesn't speak a lick of English. A Spanish reporter is going to look for a different spin than an English reporter. I'm willing to give the kid a pass.
That's true. With Chelsea's luck they were getting ready to send the bid over just as he got injured. What's with all the broken legs this pre-season? Two Bolton players, now De Bruyne.
Also read he said he heard a snap. Never like to hear of a player injured. In this case Chelsea's slow approach worked out for Chelsea at least in the short term.

@ColinUdoh: Just had a chat with Mikel. It's an ankle injury. Not looking good, from what he says. They're flying back now Take it with a grain of salt:
Quick rant - CTV is crap! Evidentally "LIVE" means starting at second half kickoff. Watched the first half on another stream. Does anybody know when CTV will have the replay? Or will they?
Torres and Sturridge seemed to interplay well together. Kalou not so much. Not quite sure Malouda is the answer either but he might be the best option at the moment.
