I get what you're saying. The view seems to be that every Spanish player wants to go to Barca or Madrid. Silva when he left Valencia and arrived at City was desperately homeseek for several months. He missed the warm weather, the food, the language, everything. Now's he's a dynamo for that team. I think we all want it to be true but you never know with any media sources with the exception of twitter which is gospel. Wouldn't it be a great way to start off the weekend if it does happen?

Assuming Chelsea get Mata, WTF is Arsenal doing over there? Cesc was gone, just a matter of time and amount. Mata could have been had cheaper and would have fit right in at Arsenal. Instead they screw around and get nada. If I was an Arsenal fan I'd scream. Arsenal's loss, Chelsea's gain, hopefully. On the other hand, Chelsea could have had Mata cheaper too. At least Chelsea's excuse is AVB was still checking out his new squad.
