I watched The game on Wednesday, Drogba looks good to me still. Age is a number. If he's got more than Torres still then so be it. I agree with need someone else in there if we are playing with Torres. But as far as I can remember, Torres has missed sitters for fun for us so I don't think we don't create chances for him, but I do think we need a playmaker. If AVB thinks our current crop is good enough, then we are in for a long season.

Can't believe this is even debatable right now. Drogba all day. Torres looks dogshit to me. If we are going off right now, Drogba everyday. The guy last year had 5 times the quality Torres showed. Had more pace, more power, Torres had one finish in half a season. Awful Until Torres proves everyone wrong it's an easy decision.

Hope he recovers, last year didn't have a good year. Right now I think out best midfielder by a mile.

Well where did you get Alex and Terry from? regardless, the only thing I have read is that if anyone is to go it would be Luiz. It maybe trash but you're obviously reading some to think it would be Alex or Terry. Either that or making assumptions which are trash.

This guy wants to play for Barca, its plain and simple.... Barca want him,Neymar,Fabregas, Luiz (?) I mean thats over 120 MILLION easily.... No way they can afford them all. Scratch Luiz from that and its still £120 Mil for the 3, but as mentioned, Sanchez wants the move, don't think Barca will pay that, Chelsea will but I don't think he wants to play for us. So personally best of luck to a great player, he will be an asset to any team, IF he goes to Barca, he will be part of the best club in the world, and he's probably one of the few players that can improve that team. I hear you. BUT i just think IF we are going to stick with him fair enough, chances of that? slim. Noone since JM has lasted more than a couple of seasons, no time to settle. This is Chelsea, bad results = OUT. Arsenal have had patience with Wenger, too much if you ask me. Last 6 years they haven't been near the standard required, they have been around but not really close. I just can see this being a massive waste of cash AGAIN. There must be more viable options out there. I hope i'm wrong but financially this could be a poor move.
