Hard to judge. thought we were dire first half. OK second. Stoke away is difficult. Kalou was dreadful. Torres look decent for once. Still can't figure us out though, just looks like the same old team.

I haven't seen much of Pastore to say we should of brought him. BUT I think £43 million is way too much for an unproven talent. Bit worries at our lack of movement though. Problem is later we leave it, more clubs will want imo because they will need to get replacements etc.

I see your point, but I personally think touch,pace,passing and taking people on or dropping deep is all on him. Nothing to do with the team. Our Style is attacking 4-3-3. Either way it doesn't matter what our style is. It's on him. Everybody loses pace but not at 27. When he notched against WH in the prem last year I can remember the Commentator saying he all of sudden looks as if hes found an extra 5 yards. He's lazy. Proven yesterday when that ball came across. A tap in. He couldn't be fucked to sprint to claim a goal. The crowd and commentators thought he should have scored..... An out of form striker is a striker not producing goals or anything for his team. Torres is worse than that. What about his touch, his passing, his ability to take people on? I think if we play in a way that apparently suits him (i still don't believe we need to change anything) then the rest of the team will suffer. I mean you give me a line up which will suit Torres. Cause honestly, playing with 2 wingers and frank/yossi up his ass doesn't work. It's him, I think anything other excuse is bull still.

I just disagree with the last part. He has had chances, failed. Touch,Finish and Pace are all things he is lacking. Nothing to do with the way we play. I know you said poor form is down to him. If he had a touch, pace and a finish we would be talking about how good Torres is. Nothing to do with our style, or any other excuse.

No matter what anyone says, it's his lack of movement. He has had chances, times he should have scored, his touch has let him down and he has lacked pace. This whole thing about "changing our wholes style" just to suit him is bull. Any world class striker adjusts their game slightly. Sorry but i refuse to believe Chelsea need to change the way we play just to suit Torres.

Thing is if he hadn't had chances then fair play. he could have bust a gut and got a tap in from Paulo Ferriera. But his attitude is can't be bothered. ALL our strikers who aren't seeing the ball drop deep, collect, create or do something for the team. Drogba always creates for others if things aren't going his way, picks the ball up, powerful. Sturridge comes on and is everywhere, drop deep, pick the ball up and take players on. Torres shows none of the above, no touch, no drive, no goals. He really is grinding me. As much as I want him to do well, I think he will hold us back. I understand people are saying we need to change the way we play, but I don't agree. Look at the goals for Liverpool, not all of them were counter attack, he would collect the ball, take players on, be on the end of crosses. He looks dreadful and literally I would right now bet my bottom dollar ANY of the top 10 teams in the prem, we could take their striker, replace Torres with him and he would give and show more than Torres does..

Exactly. Honestly, the way he plays at the moment, he doesn't deserve to make the team. And to the above post ^^ you will never drop the price tag stuff, everyone will go on and on until he produces what we brought him for, goals. He doesn't even look close to the player at Liverpool. Again biggest problem...Torres. Drogba's involvement in the game alone means he should get the nod ahead of Torres. Torres movement is shit. Where was he when PF crossed that ball. Most strikers bust a gut to get there. He looks awful. If Drogba, Rooney or Suarez aren't seeing the ball alot what do they do? drop deep and make something happen for their team. A drogba cross to set up Kalou for that header off the bar. Sturridge comes on, on the wing, wanted the ball, prepared to drop deep to pick it up. Confident in movement and what he is going to do. I am reading absolutely nothing into that Torres shot which hit the post either. We are so desperate for him to score he's taking free kicks. Seriously bad investment. Chelsea need someone new to lead the line or put Sturridge up there and get a new winger cause Torres does not look like anything decent. Odemwingie,Bent,Defoe all could produce more than Torres is for us.
