  1. KryptCFC's FC Kronenberg had to accept a defeat from my Blue Ultra side, came back from 0-2 down to win 2-3, definition of determination and character Also a question, do players in the squad develope if they are reserves? Or do I have to play them in games for them to develope?
  2. Kakuta should be loned out, no way he'll get a chance when Neymar's coming and probably rightly so because he needs to build more confidence and experience in EPL before he should be given a proper chance
  3. Juan Mata, plays for Valencia and Spain Cech VDW - Terry - Luiz/Ivanovic - A.Cole Essien/Mikel Neymar - Lampard/Ramires - Sanchez/Mata Torres/Drogba
  4. Win, surely. Hope we'll play some youngsters
  5. Compared to Ivanovic and Essien he is a boy but I get your point mate
  6. In theory Hernandez should be blown away by the likes of Ivanovic, Essien etc but in reality what he lacks in physique he makes up in speed, agility and thats exactly what we need
  7. Absolutely a must if we want to progress as a team. At the moment we've got pretty much 3 wingers - Kalou, Malouda, Anelka and out of those three I'd only keep Kalou. Ramires is not a winger, he is a central midfielder.. pretty much like Essien and Lampard. In my eyes we need two wingers and a right back. If we move Ramires in central position he can be an attacking midfielder with Frank Lampard (if you think about it, he has had a solid season given his injury) I've no idea who the right back could be (just Gregory van der Wiel pops into my mind at the moment) and wingers Mata left wing, Neymar right wing (Neymar's an attacking allarounder, he can play left, right, central position in the final third, pretty much like David Luiz but an attacker) Would be an ideal signing for us, let's hope. Seeing as Manchester City probably will go on a spree, I'm not sure what the prices will be like on the market. (rumor about Xavi going to City, talks about 700,000£ a week, give me a break + Ibrahimovic, Fabregas, Rodwell, you etc) Going to be potentially hectic summer.
  8. We only need 2 players - a winger and a creative midfielder - plus Sturridge, and that's all. Off-load a couple of ageing players to reduce wage bill and break the back bone of the old core.
  9. I didn't see the game, unfortunately. Gutted, of course but I'm sort of relieved it happened: 1) given the season we've had, second place is very good, with very I mean very very very good. 2) Manchester United deserves it more (can't believe I just typed that, I guess today it's excusable) 3) opens our eyes that we need to make changes in the squad, we've had this core for too long - perhaps it's time to part ways and think about the club rather than moral issues, fading star names. I don't want to be negative and unjust but we've had it coming for a long time. Our wingers can offer no width what so ever, our strikers are old or out of form or both, hiding behing things like an injury, even malaria, is not accaptable - perhaps if you're not 100%, allow others to play. I'm sure the likes of Sturridge and Borini would have taken a lot of experience and motivation out of it. Whatever happens - KEEP ANCELOTTI. I can assure you that even Mourinho can't dribble for Malouda. The likes of Malouda, Anelka, Bosingwa, perhaps even Drogba are still with us thanks to their services from past times, not because they're great at the moment. We shouldn't sell half the squad but 3-4 changes and Sturridge wouldn't hurt, it'll do us good. So cheer up everyone and enjoy the fact that we're still second, Arsenal lost (high five Ollie), summer is almost here aswell!
  10. Won't be able to watch this game, damn shame. Have to attend a wedding. When I get back it better be victory for the Blues GOOD LUCK AND COME ON CHELSEA
  11. How to earn money in this game? Besides the 1mil every week sponsor activity, selling players isn't always a good in-come either, given the large market. Seen some earning 42mil a season (not top teams, but the same level I am on)
  12. Blues win 2-0 against Drogba United! Off to a great start, can't wait for new season (although be it in League One)
  13. Nice graph, goes to show that we should go with 4-3-3 with Drogba as CF. Torres is nice to have on the bench but as so many have said earlier - his season starts in August.
  14. Pato is too fragile and Essien is a great player, probably hasn't had the best season but he will bounce back. He is the Bison afterall, no way we are going to sell him
  15. Ok thank you, you've been very helpful
  16. How can I see what the other team is fielding/ has fielded in past games? Is there much difference in terms of goal scoring when it comes to formations like 4-3-3 vs. 4-5-1?
  17. I see lots of "top" teams have many midfielders in their squad, are they all playing defensive 4-5-1? 5-4-1? 5-5-0? What's the logic in this game for success?
  18. Seems like I've inherited the GZ FC, damn mess that team if you look at the team position in the league. O well, let's see what happens Who is Drogba United's manager on this forum? My first game in charge will be against them
  19. I think that's a bit harsh mate. He has scored 13 goals this season, having sat out half of it with an injury. Our midfield has been superb last few matches and if our strikers start to deliver, we will win at Old Trafford. When Ramires came on for Essien (not saying Essien was bad) against Spurs then some of the counter attacks and slick ticka tacka passes reminded of Barcelona. No doubt in my mind we can win, regardless of who the referee is, we just have to rely on ourselves not on our opponents making mistakes/referee making mistakes for either side.
  20. Exactly! I'll miss this game, can't believe it.
  21. If we do win at Old Trafford I think Newcastle at home and Everton away won't be much of a problem. If our players smell blood and have a chance to win the title by scoring a couple against them then they'll just kill the game right off. Look at Wigan, we had to win and we did in style.
  22. Just read the news, was unexpected. Good riddance
